Miami Restaurant Puerto Rico Gran Canaria — Restaurant in Mogán

WATCH OUT!!!! PLEASE READ Started off nice, me and my partner couldn’t find the restaurant we were looking for so we asked where we can eat Paella. Friendly man said “here” cool, so we sat. Ordered a beer and starters, came quickish, was ok. Time to order the paella! 😃… ordered 1, I repeat one paella TO SHARE (menu said min 2 people) so we thought great! The guy at the start said they are big €15.50 to share 1 Paella is great, was ok not the best Iv had but still nice. Didn’t finish it, took it home. Time to pay . So that should be 1 beer 1 rum and cola, 2 starts and ONE paella… NOPE was charged for TWO because apparently the minimum 2 people dish ISN’T portion size, ITS PRICE!?! 🤔 even though it said €15.50. Said we ordered 1 not two (one of the waiters actually agreed the menu is very misleading lol) argued politely for some time that it doesn’t say €31 for 2 (1 big bowl of paella) they didn’t want to change it even though we had proof we wanted ONE to share, so we payed and left. Maybe it’s me not understanding because “I’m not from Spain” whatever that means lol, oh well lesson learned, at least have dinner for tomorrow! 😉 just watch out, ask if not sure and read carefully I guess (or just give it a miss...

Firstly we are a very fussy family for food I have 2 autistic children and me and tge Mrs are just fussy lol. Miami steakhouse in gran canaria is 1 of if not the best resturant we have had food from in Puerto Rico the steak is absolutely lovely my kids have had burgers and pizzas from there and cleared their plates I demolished the steak and she had the fish and chips and wow amazing that's all I can say. I will admit tho we had the half roast chicken the other day but none of us liked it I'm not sure if it was the flavours they cooked it with or what but we didn't eat it so I could not recommend the chicken but I really WOULD recommend at least trying this resturant it is so nice well it is to us and ALL of the staff are really nice and they love to interact with the kids which is great when you have kids like ours it just makes it...

I literally never order steak from a restaurant. I like mine well done, no pink, and more often than not it comes out with pink in it. My other half told me to have faith, as a steakhouse will know how to cook it. I took the plunge and told the waiter i wanted nothing short of cremation. The steak arrived. I started at one end and all was well, half way through however, low and behold, pink (see pic). No one came to ask how the meal was until they took the plates away. We told the waiter, and showed him. He said nothing and took it away. No apology, no discount, nothing. The table next to us spat out their chicken, saying it was undercooked.
