Restaurante El Tiburón — Restaurant in Mogán

Walked past and thought it looked nice due to its location on the beach and it was busy. We were seated at one of the only tables left in the place. a couple of minutes after sitting down the table behind us, two young females, complained that their food was undercooked and that they weren't paying for it and were leaving. Thought this was a bit weird and that the two females was a one off, but it was just the start.

15 minutes went past with no waiter even coming for a drink order. In this time we could tell that there was a weird atmosphere in the place, with tables all just looking at each other with bewildered expressions to each other.

Another 10 minutes past and finally our order was taken. We ordered a garlic bread plain and another with cheese, which the waiter couldn't seem to grasp.

Another 10 minutes went past and a table a row or so over got up and walked out leaving a table full of drinks. Again thought this was weird but that was now the second table in 20 minutes or so that had left. A table behind us with an English family told us to leave whilst we could as the service was shocking and very very slow and when food etc did arrive majority was being sent back by customers. We then got our 2 drinks, a cocktail each priced at €6.95, and was basically a glass of ice with some orange juice in it.

The English family then received their food and writhing a minute had sent it back as his chicken was stone cold the pizzas were like cardboard on the bottom and thick gooey cheese solidified on the top, even their chips were cold. They then got up and told the staff they were not paying for their meals either and left.

Myself and my wife took this as the ultimate sign and decided we would pay for our drinks and leave the food. We told a waiter to cancel our food and charge us for our drinks, to which he became aggressive asking why. We told him we didn't want it any more and he went away muttering under his breath at colleagues who then all walked past muttering also. It now took a further 10 minutes to get our bill, to which they had added an extra drink, after the being removed we paid. Waiting on our change my wife noted the waiter to place it on another table full of people who looked bemused and stated it wasn't theirs. The waiter was almost adamant that this family take OUR money, the family point blank refused.

The waiter then walked about aimlessly looking for our table. By this time another table had got up and left due to the poor service and waiting times. We eventually got our change and left.

Morale of the story is do not waste a single cent going to this "restauraut", when 4 tables all leave without paying due to food and wait staff then clearly something is wrong. Have you ever eaten a flip-flop? I haven't either, but I'm totally certain that the pizza they served me had the same consistency and taste of a flip-flop. The price of this and a soda cost me more than a steak at one of the fancier restaurants just a couple meters further out from town. When it comes to hygiene I have to say that, in my opinion, No one would like to taste the lip-balm from the last person that was drinking from the cup or the sauce from the fork. Some people say it's a nice restaurant but if they do I can assure you that they either have the standards of a nice meal as dining in the gutter or they own the restaurant. Told the waiter that I didn’t want a breakfast, could I just have a bacon sandwich and a coffee. He came back with two bacon, lettuce and tomato toasted sandwiches with chips and salad, and a bill for 20.90€ When I challenged this he accused me of causing trouble in all of the local restaurants, and threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay.
