Playa de Mogán — Attraction in Mogán

Beautiful fishing village, turned beach resort and marina. Pretty flower adorned apartments surround the marina with golden sands close by. Great choice of restaurants and quality food Slightly dearer than other resorts in area but worth it. This should ensure it remains a favourite with couples and young families and keeps the noisier bars in Puerto Rico etc. One minor complaint. Restaurant owners, please don't stand ourside your premises hassling customers. Beautiful harbour, very picturesque. Lots of bridges and beautiful flowers flowing down. People say little Venice . There is a market on Tuesday and Friday’s and covers the paths down to the water front and carries on . Lovely restaurant and cafes around . A lovely place to visit . Gets really busy on market days . Difficult to get to by road but you can catch a boat to from places like Puerto Rico. Taxi cost us €20.50 both ways or you would have to go to Puerto Rico and then catch the No. 1 bus to Morgan. Small beach . Lots of toilet facilities around . Shopping court. There were big signs on the beach / marina telling people to be aware of pickpockets & card sharps playing the 3 card trick on cardboard boxes. Never seen that in the Canary Islands before in the 25 years we have been on holidays here. And we have known some very rough, resorts. This place is supposed to be a high quality, high end resort. We were looking to book accommodation on the marina for 6 months. We left as quickly as we could. Pretentious, tourist trap, overpriced . Expensive shops for people with more money than sense.
