Casual little restaurant with excellent quality Spanish food. The croquetas are perhaps the best I’ve ever had. They have chicken, spinach or mushroom and we got the spinach ones. They’re homemade and fantastic. Served piping hot and with alioli sauce. We also ordered the fried rosada fish (fresh, flaky, large portion, delicious) and the fried chicken fillet (equally as good)! Had lunch at Sergio's based on recommendations. It didn't disappoint! We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Sergio who seemed to appreciate our attempts to communicate in broken Spanish. The food was good, freshly prepared and good value for money. It was clear from chatting with two elderly locals that the owner looks after his customers very well. It makes such a difference to be welcomed with a smile and a friendly greeting. This hasn't always been the case in Nerja but it was at Sergio's....

Excellent food and service wonderful family we had a lovely meal here yesterday of gambas pil pil patatas bravas and croquettes Chicken and 2 extra of mushroom the Chicken was outstanding and the mushroom was excellent we had a bottle of house red wine and 2 brandy all the food and drinks and service was excellent all for a excellent price we are going back on Sunday for a Paella which we know that it will be excellent .All the best to Sergio and his family all our love Robert and Eileen...
