We've been coming to La Zenia for the past 12 years and Paddy's Point is always our 1st stop!
Rory and Hazel have built a really great team of friendly staff around them. The service is excellent as is their entertainment - especially 'The Cages', we love that band! There is live music 7 nights a week and most nights they provide a magician to keep the kids (And the adults!!!) entertained.
Food is served daily and the menu is packed with Irish favourites. The quality of food is excellent and is very reasonably priced.
If you need a little respite from the heat, it's nice to dine inside where it is fully air conditioned.
The terrace area is massive but can still be very busy which is always a good sign!
Paddy's Point is also a very popular spot for sport. They have plenty of screens but if you want to get the best seats make sure to get there early. Always a great atmosphere, especially for GAA or Irish International football/Rugby.
Keep up the great...
Read moreBedlam there yesterday Went in for lunch at 1pm. Didn't get served until after 2pm. Here many times before with no problems. Staff were unable to cope while the owner rambled around apparently without a care! No point going there in August. Two years have now passed and still no response from the owner Rory. The owner only replies to "good "reviews. He Obviously doesn't like criticism. If you really like omelettes don't try them here unless you like really greasy food! Called here again today Tuesday 3rd August and still no change. Waiting 15 minutes and staff informed us that we would have to wait another 45 minutes to be served?? Went down to The Captains Table in Punta Prima where the food, service and value are exceptional!! Hopefully the new recently opened premises McCaffertys will be good competition as Paddy's Point...
Read moreThis is a rowdy place . People sing along to the live music . A lot of mingling around and a lot of people knowing each other . More or less an English speaking kindergarten .Food average. You get what you expect from a small local bar/restaurant . Most odd is that they don’t have neither a beer list nor a wine list. I had the choice of three beers the waitress told me. Two lagers and a Guinness. We ordered a bottle of red. Again we had to ask the waitress’s what they had and the price of the items . A bottle of wine arrived without a cork. Or rather a symbolic unused cork beside the bottle . The restaurant probably buys wine in crates and fill up bottles. Hopefully with the correct grapes. Form where I come this is not a proper way to serve a bottle of wine. By the way. The wine...
