Confitería La Mallor — Restaurant in Oviedo

I have gone to this cafe many times as I think they have the best carbayones in Oviedo. The staff has always been friendly to me and they take special care to wrap up the pastries. Last summer I stayed in Oviedo for one month and came here almost everyday and there was a man working the counter who was always so sweet to me making conversation. Two weeks ago I went back for a weekend and the man wasn’t there but the lady who served me at the counter was very sweet. We sat on the terrace and were waiting to be served for probably 20 minutes. We waved at the waiters multiple times and tried to make eye-contact to be served. We went inside to ask if we can order there but were sent to wait outside. Sometimes the waiters nodded back at us, so we felt more hopeful that somebody would come but it never happened.
