Los Molcajetes — Restaurant in Oviedo

I was craving Mexican food and after reading some reviews claiming this was the most authentic Mexican food, i decided to eat here.

I asked the server if I could get extra jalapeno on the noches she nodded (didn't write it down) and when the noches arrived it had 4 jalapenos. She could've charge me for it but agreed and not bring it, which was disappointing.

The atmosphere is okay, rather dark and lack any joy.

I have lived in Mexico and I didn't find the food to what I've had in Mexico and even many parts of United States. The food lacked quality and flavour.

The sauce they gave us was rather salty and difficult to eat with anything.

One of the best mexican places in town, the decor is incredible and very detailed. The staff provides good service and the food is as spicy and good as homemade mexican food gets.
