Terrible Experience at Mar Cala Estancia – Not Recommended

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Mar Cala Estancia. Let me break it down:

First, the service was absolutely appalling. The waiter who came to take our order walked away to help other customers who were just asking for a table. He never returned until we had to complain, leaving us waiting for far too long without any explanation.

Second, the food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the mixed grill platter, which according to the menu, should have included beef, lamb, and chicken. There was no mention of pork, which is important to me because I do not eat pork. When the dish arrived, it included pork as well. Since I had never eaten pork before, I assumed it was chicken and ended up eating it. When I asked the waiter about the strange taste, he took the plate and sent the manager over. The manager claimed that the menu mentioned pork, but when I showed him the menu, it clearly did not list pork in the different languages. He responded by offering to prepare a new dish without pork, but I had already eaten it, which is a serious issue for me as a Muslim. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, he reacted very rudely and just walked away.

Overall, this place showed a complete lack of professionalism and sensitivity. I do not recommend it, especially if you have dietary restrictions or expect decent service. This is easily the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Mallorca. Avoid at all costs. I wanted to give 0 stars but...

Worst customer service and the garlic prawns are so bad like they are dead. Bad attitude of waiters. I waited for a long time and when the waiter approaches he still says “give me one second”. I’m like who is the customer and are you respecting me in the first place before you want me to understand you? Their food portion sometimes is smaller for paella although they charge cheaper. It’s not the same as other places. Also what’s wrong with me having some sips of my coconut juice I bought in another store that didn’t finish? You don’t sell coconut juice here. Juice not allowed? Who are you? I need this juice to make my body less hot. It’s not like I didn’t buy anything to sit here. I spend at least 30+ euro here. You don’t even allow me to take a sip of the juice? It’s just an excellent view I’ve enjoy at this restaurant. We had ordered a seafood paella and had a bad experience.

Firstly the paella was very small portion. Secondly we could literally count the bits of seafood in it. The paella had no flavour at all. All the other places I had paella’s during my holiday were excellent. Above all it has made me sick for nearly 2days.
