Came to this place on our last night in Palma, to finally try some paella.
We didn't book, and were told that if we wanted the paella, we had to wait 35 minutes if we didn't call beforehand. That was fine by us, so we waited.
The paella eventually arrived on time, but was utterly disappointed.
The rice was extremely salty and oily, and there was basically no seafood in it (we picked the seafood version, not the one with both seafood and meat). For 19 euros per person, we got 3 mussels, 3 shrimps, and 4/5 crab legs on the side, and a tiny bit of squid mixed up with the rice. This is NOT an adequate amount of fish for the price paid, we literally paid 20 euro for some oily rice and 4/5 bites of seafood (since that is what you end up eating, when the shrimps/mussles are de-shelled).
The place itself does not look classy, but a pretty down to earth diner. We hoped for something better, since at least it seemed a sea food focused restaurant. But we were disappointed, and robbed by the astronomical prices.
P.S. the house rosé was dry...

Went here with my wife and the place was packed with people! We went from some Spanish food and we could see plenty of Spanish people eating here which is of course a good sign! We had the paella and it was incredibly good! When I order it the waiter told me it would have been 25minute waiting time. Honestly I was so happy to hear that 😃 paella takes time to make and around the area you get a lot of quickly done paella which clearly are just coming out of the microwave! I was more then happy to wait for a real paella! Watching around the tables the fish in particular looked so good. Would have love to come back but didn't have time in the end!
As a restaurant manager my self I wasn't too please to receive a chipped bowl......but yeah, every tourist should go to eat...
Read moreSeveral years ago, I stayed at a hotel in Can Pastilla for one night in the cold season. I remember having dinner at a seafront restaurant and eating tasty stuffed squid.
So when I was in the area again recently, I walked along the seafront desperately looking for stuffed squid in restaurant menus - and rediscovered this place. The squid (calamar relleno de marisco) ist still to die for! I liked their tapas as well, and prices were quite reasonable, though not too cheap. The only complaint is that they don't serve sangria by the glass.
Will be definitely heading here again the next time I am on Mallorca and will try their paellas next time - if I have the willpower not to order stuffed squid again!...
