In short: adult only, a great stay, a good location, great food but we wouldn’t stay again because of the dogs. At length: Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel. It is CLOSE to the airport. You WILL hear the aeroplanes, even WITHIN the room. But our room was at the very end of the block closest to the airport. The noise didn’t disturb us, we slept wearing foam earplugs, and slept well. The room IS small but that doesn’t worry me at all as I don’t go on holiday to spend time within the room. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower was hot. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were replaced. The TV only had two English speaking channels – that I could find, but that is to be expected in a foreign land. Again, I don’t plan on spending much time within the room. (Also, there is an enormous TV outside by the bar showing non-stop sport). There are NO tea/coffee machine/kettles in the room (take your own). There is a fridge. Hot drinks are free at breakfast but at no other time, not even at dinner with half-board, and I don’t think you can even buy a hot drink during dinner – only cold/alcohol. Pay the extra and opt for half-board, the food is excellent. Ignore the negative reviews about the food, I have no idea what those people’s expectations are but they should try nothing less that the Ritz. Just the logistics of producing that much food twice a day, with the variety, and care that has been put into it is staggering. You can eat as much as you like. There are different options each night. There are hot and cold options, also chefs waiting to cook that night’s speciality just for you, if that is what you wish. I only once queued for grilled fish because there can be a long queue so with the wealth of options I just went with the buffet. And please don’t picture simply trays of chips (there is usually a tray of chips) but just one in a sea of choices. The desserts are also well made, presented and the choice! Again, eat as many as you like. To be honest I left breakfast and dinner stuffed, each and every day. Largely because it all looked so good I wanted to try at least one of each item. My only negatives with the food are that the hot food is not always very hot, but I understand that is hard with a buffet. It’s not always clearly labelled as to its content – as I’m pescetarian. The choice is mainly meat but there are plenty of meat free options – you won’t struggle. Other than that, it’s people. The ones who pile their plates to ridiculous proportions rather than just going back, or leave it uneaten, or maybe worse use their fingers to shove large amounts in their cake-holes whilst still at the buffet. Or the usual cough/sneezers who leant nothing from Covid – cover your mouth and move away from food/people! The exterior of the hotel is neat and tidy, with some art installation to give it a look and feel of class. There is a team of cleaners hard at cleaning the pool area each morning first thing. The bar has inside and out seating, the drinks I found to be well priced – much cheaper than the UK. I didn’t try the gym, or indoor pool but I did check them out and they all look good, small, but good. You can hire different types of bikes from the bunker, starting from 10E per day for a city bike – the price reduces for multiple days. There are a hundred places along the sea front where you can hire similar for less money. One of the bikes we hired had seen far better days but it did get us to Palma and Bellver Castle. A ‘trekking’ bike is a better option at 13E. Road bikes start at 30E for Alu, and increase for carbon etc. There were a lot there. There is a dedicated cycle path all the way to Palma which is largely flat and at a relaxed pace you can be there in 40mins. We were provided locks and there are plenty of bike racks to lock the bikes to, and to be honest, nobody is going to steal one of the hire city bikes… PS - they allow dogs. We could hear one barking in a room close to ours which had obviously been left alone. It's cruel to drag an animal through two airports and a...
Read moreThis is definitely not a 4stars hotel! First of all the reception stuff are beyond rude especially the one called Jenny with short curly hair. She was very rude, disrespectful and inappropriate throughout our stay. Not only one time but in every chance we talked to her she would show how rude and unprofessional she could be. Not service minded at any chance and seems to hate her job. The girl called Maria on the other hand is an angel. The very loud house keeping service starts at 7:30 which stress you out while you suppose to be on vacation, they got into our room despite us having the sign hanging on the door not to disturb. The cleanliness is a disaster. Rooms full of insects. You’d find them on the bed sheets, curtains , bathroom sink and even crawling on you when you wake up in the morning. When we first checked in we complained immediately about our room’s not being cleaned properly and full of insects( see picture), we were offered another room but that was not better as insects were also there. When complained again to reception, the guy working there told me; you can just swipe them away then you’re ok!! Despite the check out time on their website, on google and on hotel.com where we booked saying check out time at 12:00 the rude receptionist (Jenny) called to our room to tell us we have to check out at 11:00. When we were about to leave our luggage upon check out she would tell us to leave them in a room in another floor with no tags where anyone could access in and out to that room. When I questioned that she said it was all our responsibility in a very rude tone and that she doesn’t care. People waiting on the line to check in/out were also chocked how rude she was! Thanks to Maria who helped locking our luggage in another room. The breakfast was really good and the stuff working on breakfast shift were very pleasant, nice, helpful and welcoming. The spa part is also nice. We tried the dinner buffet once and would not recommend it. The outdoor hot tub on the second floor was working only one day during our one week stay! For a safety box we payed an extra 27€ which is a pity for a so called 4 stars hotel. The location is good just next to the beach with a good variety of restaurants nearby. Overall a bad experience. They have a nice facility in general but they have a lot to work on as mentioned to improve their customer experience. I would not come back and definitely not recommend this...
Read moreGreat value for money – we would definitely stay again!
We booked the package with breakfast and dinner, and it was absolutely worth it! The location is very close to the airport, which was actually a plus for us—we like planes, so the occasional noise didn’t bother us. That said, it might be a consideration for lighter sleepers.
Highlights: 🤵🏽♂️Outstanding staff – Super friendly, hardworking, and relaxed. The waiters were quick and attentive, which made dining a pleasure. 🥞 Delicious breakfast – Plenty of options and really good quality. 🥘 Incredible dinner experience – Freshly cooked meals, tons of variety, and you can tell how much care and passion the chefs put into each dish. Chefs are present to prepare dishes on the spot, in addition to an extensive buffet. In my opinion, the food was better than what you usually get in a 4-star hotel. I was genuinely impressed! 🧖♀️Spa area – Small but cute, with 3 pools and 2 saunas. 🌤️Rooftop pool – A lovely spot to relax just a bit windy. More pools on the ground floor – Great for variety. 🌊Room with sea view – The room was a bit compact, but the large balcony made up for it.
Good to know:
🍹🙅🏼Drinks are not included in dinner and you have to pay extra, but that’s understandable—otherwise people might overdo it ;) 🔒The safe in the room comes with an extra charge, which felt unnecessary. 🫖No kettle in the room, which would have been nice for a cup of tea or coffee.
Final Suggestions for improvement:
🫖 Place kettle in the room 🔒 Make the safe in the room free of charge ⚙️In the spa area, one of the four bubble seats wasn’t working needs a fix as well as the shower where the water comes from the walls is not working 🌴The relaxation room only has floor cushions; perhaps consider adding a few loungers from the pool area and some plants to make it feel more inviting. I didn’t see anyone using that room during our stay. 🚽The WC in the room bathroom cramped—maybe reposition the toilet roll holder? 🚿Also, consider upgrading the shower head that’s an 8€ -10€ fix but makes a nicer shower experience ;)
Final thoughts:
We would absolutely come back—mainly for the amazing food, great facilities, proximity to the airport just before heading back home and the warm service from the staff. Thank you for a...
