Whilst the food was absolutely delicious, unfortunately the service we received was appalling - avoid at all costs. I ordered a glass of the house white (for €7!) and the waitress who was serving us accidentally it knocked over, spilling half of my glass all over our table. Whilst I do not have a problem with this, as I understand that accidents happen, I do have a problem with the fact that she then refused to top up the rest of my glass which had been spilt as she claimed it was “just a drop”. After we insisted it was half the glass (pointing out that it took two napkins to mop up the spilt wine) she reluctantly grabbed the bottle of wine and poured the tiniest drizzle (less than a sip) into my half empty glass in a very aggressive manner. She then marched away whilst smirking to herself. We were all completely shocked as we have never received such awful service, let alone at such a well renowned and expensive restaurant. It completely changed the tone of our lunch and we felt incredibly uncomfortable being served by her.

They are also very cheeky with upselling apéritif’s and appetisers - without telling you that it is not included within the set menu. They refused to take away one of our orders when we realised they were an additional cost.

It’s a real shame as we all had such a wonderful experience eating there the year before and were so looking forward to going back. It costs absolutely nothing for good service and I hope the owners take note of all the negative reviews regarding...

After reading good reviews about the restaurant, we were very excited about our visit. Unfortunately our impression was very different from what we expected. We wanted to order a wine from the wine list but was then told that we couldn’t buy that wine, as it was only for the lunch. I asked the waiter if they didn’t have the wine, she said yes, but that she couldn’t sell it to me now at night, only at lunch, which I think is very odd. It almost seemed like we were only allowed to buy more expensive wine as we came in the night, and that seems rude when the wine is presented in the wine menu handed us. We chose the 5 course tasting menu, and were surprised to get a course that wasn’t on the menu: when we asked about it, we were told that they changed the menu, so the dish with mushrooms that we had been looking forward to, wasn’t even part of the menu that night. That would have been nice to be Informed about before ordering and when the menu was presented to us. In general the service was rude, rigid and posh. We felt that the waiters only had one thing in mind: how to make us pay more, and when we didn’t want to order champagne as suggested, they were rolling their eyes. Unlike what the restaurant name indicates, the taste of the food wasn’t balanced at all: most dishes were far too salty and had a weird taste of rye bread - very odd. The only impressive thing about this place is the...

The restaurant is set in a traditional Mallorcan courtyard, which immediately gives it a 'wow' factor the moment you step inside. There's lots of natural light streaming in from the glass covered rooftop, and you can't help but notice how high the ceiling is.

We'd booked for 13:30 as they said they didn't have a table available for 14:00, and when we arrived they didn't have our reservation anyway. No apology was made, and they quickly found us a table.

The service style was as you would expect from a chef who holds a Michelin star at another restaurant, but I couldn't help but feel the service was disjointed. We called a member of staff over to take our order, but she couldn't take it, so we had to wait for another member of staff to come over and attend to us. People were eager to please, but there was some duplication of activities, and everyone seemed quite serious.

The food was good, but not great. I'm not a fan of piping hot food, but my first course, which should have been hot, arrived cool. My main course was Cod which tasted wonderful, but a slightly larger portion would have been welcomed.

The price for a lunchtime Menu del día of this standard represents good value for money, and I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from visiting in the future.

I won't be rushing back, but undoubtedly I will try it again at some point...

I really wanted to give five stars. The outdoor seating area is a dream. The quiet courtyard with orange trees, the decor, everything in regards to the setting was perfect. They’ve managed to create a space during corona that helps me breath a little easier and forget about all the restrictions. But one of the waiters was a bit rough and slammed the plate of food on the table against my water glass. He didn’t explain the dishes at all, and barely spoke a word. It could have been a language issue— we speak only fluent German and English, and we saw that he spoke Spanish to the other guests. And the food is inconsistent. My husband enjoyed his dishes although they weren’t anything exciting (beetroot starter, upgraded monkfish main), but mine were not very good. The leeks were fibrous and difficult to cut and chew. This was really a poor dish. Definitely not worth the upgrade in price for the starter. Yes, the presentation is beautiful, But overall I found my starter and main dish (Iberico pork) under seasoned and a bit boring in flavor. They are not dishes I would recommend or ever eat again. Desserts were just fine. The basic lunch set menu is 18.50€. Small portions. With upgrades and drinks, our bill was 75€ for two people for lunch. We’re a bit confused as to why this restaurant is Michelin recommended.

Aromata, located in an alluring glass-roofed internal courtyard, left a lasting impression with its attentive accommodation of my vegetarian preferences, as I had mentioned it prior to my visit. The dishes not only catered to my dietary needs but also showcased a remarkable presentation that pleased both the eyes and the palate. The flavors were a delightful medley, offering a superb variety that tantalized my taste buds. The staff's kindness and attentiveness added to the overall experience, creating a truly memorable dining experience. Although the portions were slightly small, the exceptional quality and aesthetic appeal of the cuisine more than compensated for it.
