I stayed at Nakar Hotel for the first time in 2016 within weeks of it opening and have been back twice more since then just so I could stay at this hotel again, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! It’s a breathtaking Oasis in the middle of Palma’s city centre, 5 minutes walk from the Old Town and a 6minute cab ride from the livelier night-time restaurants and bars in El Torreno.
The staff make you feel so valued and special – Every single person working at the hotel is so friendly. The first class customer service makes you feel like a VIP - nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with luxury amenities replaced daily. Lovely touches like a welcome voucher for a cocktail are delightful and can be used to order a mojito to your sunbed, poolside or when you head back up of an evening where the poolside turns into a rooftop bar complete with a DJ playing chilled out Balearic beats.
On a typical day I wake up and head up for the beautiful continental breakfast at the in-hotel restaurant with panoramic open air views of the old town. I watch the City views including Palma’s Cathedral with coffee/orange juice and a continental or cooked breakfast. I head to my room and chill out in the hot tub for a while before hitting the roof for a long day of relaxing, reading and poolside food and drink service. The afternoons are spent looking for one-offs from little old town shops or wandering the marina and modern shops in the city centre
This isn’t just a lovely boutique hotel, it’s an experience – I look forward to my annual trip here knowing I’ll come away with my batteries fully recharged. I’ve just booked to go back next month. Trust me and book – you...
Read moreI was so happy I decided on this hotel for our short stay in Palma. It is right in the heart of Palma however you don’t get the street traffic noise. Its proximity to the sights we planned to visit was a plus (the hop on hop off tour bus even stops in front of the hotel). The staff were top-notch, from check-in to check-out; cheerful, friendly, very helpful and pleasant. Lea and Michele thank you for making our stay fun. We got in about 5:45pm and it was suggested we go have a dip in the roof-top pool before it closes for DJ Night at 6:30pm. After a long day of touring and then travel, it was just what we needed before heading out to dinner. The view was spectacular and I could sit on the roof-top for hours. The ladies gave us suggestions on places to eat and how best to make use of our time in Palma. We got to use the Spa sauna & aromatherapy steam bath the next morning and we were not disappointed; the spa staff had water and tea waiting for us. The room was nice and comfortable with all the necessary essentials; I will however suggest having permanent towel hooks (on the toilet door) will be great; there were 2 of us and we had to keep looking for a place to hang the towel and a spa robe. Breakfast was nice with a variety of items to choose from and they also had an omelet bar. Wifi was good. I can’t wait to come back to Palma and I will choose Nakar Hotel Palma over...
Read more🏨 Everything was well thought through. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The rooms have presence sensory, which means that the light automatically turns on when you walk into it. You don't need to fiddle with a card or look for a card slot. The room safe is big enough for a notebook and has a charging socket inside
🌊 Bathrobes and slippers are provided. There is a stunning view from the rooftop infinity pool over the whole city, the cathedral, the harbour, and the ocean
🧖 The indoor pool, sauna, and steam bath have to be reserved, which means it's not too crowded. The reception always had a slot available for us at our preferred time even on short notice. During our stay however the sauna was broken and didn't work.
🥐 The breakfast is on the 8th floor which means you have the same view as from the pool above. Besides local specialities, salmon, bread, vegetables, Müsli, juices, and Sekt they are prepared for allergies as well. They had freshly baked gluten free buns, which they cooked inside their plastic packing to avoid cross contamination. Just inform them in advance about your needs
🚌 The hotel is located in the west of the city centre. The entrance is direct next to a decathlon shop, which signs can be seen easily. Walking to the airport shuttle bus takes about 7 minutes with luggage and costs 5€ per person. It is possible to pay the fee directly...
