Enco Gastronomy — Restaurant in Palma

It's position as a tourist café in Palma restaurant is marvellous. Trendy and busy premises. Walking distance to the Cathedral and Parc del Mar area, the port and cruise ship embankment area, and the Paseo Martimo with all the array of yachts. Metered parking in the port bays and across the street and nearby is the Parc del Mar metered underground parking which is secure and central. All areas are well signposted. Food and beverages selection in Enco is average. It could be a lot better. The menu is limited. Service can be slow. For me, it was not good value for money, pricey enough. Waiter service can be slow and sometimes disinterested however pleasant and mainly courteous. In season, street musicians seemed to have moved closer to the outside street al fresco eating areas in front of all the restaurants along the paseo and the tendency is for the various acts to put pressure on people to pay for this unauthorized entertainment. While mainly really enjoyable, it can be quite off putting while one eats or drinks. Always watch your valuables for pickpockets and who may try to distract you as they tend to work in groups of two/three, as this is a heightened tourist area so one needs to be cautious at all times. I use it now as a pit stop for a café or drink and this works quite well also and as a meeting point or a good venue to walk around and enjoy the beautiful Palma scenery...

One of the photos attached in this review is a Foccaccia…. It was just plain pizza dough cooked dry with raw ingredients out on top it was terrible to be honest. A focaccia should be like a sponge, soft and fluffy bread this was stale and flat pizza dough??? I’m sorry but that was very disappointing. The pizza on the other hand was pretty good but I cannot honestly give a high score to a restaurant that advertise focaccia for 14 euros and brings out this garbage.

The waiter was really nice guy but I would not order food here again. Who knows what else they have on the menu that sounds good but is absolutely huge disappointment for a big price tag. No thanks. There are many better restaurants in this neighborhood...

We arrived, table for 5, and sat down. Ordered water, it arrived, business as usual. Then when we ordered the food, all was normal, but as time passed our food didn’t arrive, and we had to remind the waiter twice that we still needed our food and that we had to leave for a specific time. When the food arrived, only the salads were brought, and after asking yet again for our burgers, they arrived cold, meaning they had been made, but not brought.
