Las Palmeras — Restaurant in Palma

Staff here understand English and at least help out if you are struggling with menu...unlike majority of tourist-unfriendly places in Palma. We loved the food - sumptuous sea food, tasty food and very reasonable price. For two people with starters, mains and two glasses of wine, it was just €48. Nothing fancy about the place, but if you want a quick pit stop, it is a good option...

Consejo: si quieres que te atiendan, mejor ves a la barra a pedir, porque cuando nos sentamos (cambiándonos de mesa porque aun así entraba el humo de la gente que fumaba fuera…) y después de estar un rato esperando, se acerca un camarero y nos pregunta “si nos puede ayudar en algo” … le pedimos a ver si tienen alguna oferta de desayuno y nos sugiere la carta y por lo que preguntábamos era las típicas tostadas con café… pregunto a ver si tienen algún tipo de pan diferente, por valorar opciones y el camarero va a preguntar… nos comenta si nos sirve pan moreno, al cual aceptamos. Primero nos sirven un café con leche, más malo que el siguiente, que traen bastante más tarde. Nuestra sorpresa al llegar nuestra comanda, es que nos sirven dos llongets (de pan blanco), que es lo único bueno y que salva nuestra visita… precio del desayuno: casi 12€, ósea, no tienen “pack”...
