Loved this place! It was one of my favorite restaurants during my trip to Mallorca. The staff were super friendly, especially Sandra! I ordered the Rigatoni Arrabbiata, which was delicious, and Sandra brought me extra chili oil without prompting after I had mentioned to her that I like spice when ordering. We ordered the same dish to-go for a friend, and she also packed an extra container of chili oil for that order. One of my friends also ordered the Spaghetti al Vongole and loved it. Sandra was so fun with us and even offered the table a round of free limoncello shots on her and took the shot with us. (These were frozen house limoncello shots and were also delicious!) She made our night, it was some of the best service we experienced and has stuck with me even after it’s been a couple months since returning from my trip.
I was also impressed by the speed at which the restaurant got our to-go order ready at the end of our meal, so I came back the next day to grab a meal to-go before I left for the airport. This time I got the Rigatoni Quattro Formaggi and again the food was ready to go extremely quick! This dish was also good but it’s hard to top their Rigatoni...
Read moreThe most tragic restaurant I have ever been to because of a waiter (here they are calling themselves manager) with very terrible behavior!! We don't know the name, it was the evening of May 10th. We ordered a bottle of wine, water, 3 pizzas and pasta and waited patiently for about an hour. When we saw that people who came long after us were already eating, we told the waiter, who was immediately rude and shouted at us, that he was already urging the chef and other sentences that we did not understand. When after another time (after a total of about an hour of waiting!!) they brought the food, my husband mentioned that the hour was really too long, he shouted at us again. I told him that he couldn't afford to talk to us like that, that it wasn't our fault and he took our plates of food even though the kids had already started cutting the pizza, he took our plates with food and kicked us out, Incredibly rude and choleric behavior. We are tourists from another country, but in our country nobody can allow something like that to a restaurant guest. Avoid...
Read moreCame to Il Forno on a Monday night. Offered no help with the buggy up the steps into the restaurant. We were sat down in an area where the floor was wet. So I stood until it was cleaned. We then waited for about 10 mins to be given menus. We had been here two years ago and had a great experience. We ordered rigatoni, tortellini and garlic bread. The food came within minutes, almost too quick to be freshly prepared. Mine was warm towards the centre but the pasta further out was cold. I asked the manager for a fresh one, not for it to be reheated. She agreed she would. It came and was the same portion I had sent back just microwaved. As it was late I ate some of it and told her it was still cold and not fresh. She said okay and refused to take it off our bill. We left with no apology or garlic bread. Toilets also like something from a Magaluf nightclub, disgusting. Will not...
