I have been coming to this restaurant for over a year, and was frankly disappointed today. I ordered a Zaalouk dish that was described as having tomatoes and eggplants. The dish arrived and it was honestly the most tasteless thing I have had here. As a vegetarian, it is especially hard to find food to eat at tapas places, so when I saw the dish I thought it would be a good option. The dish didn’t taste anything like tomatoes. It was just mashed up eggplants. Once I told the cook (or at least he said he was) that I didn’t taste any tomatoes, he said “it’s 10% tomatoes and the eggplant has been prepared since this morning thank you”. He was super rude. I don’t think I have ever had such terrible service from any of the waiters here. Most of the people that work here are kind, so I’m very disappointed. My wife and I were the first people in the restaurant, and the man that greeted us was very nice. We ordered 4 plates of tapas, some water, and wine. The waiter that brought our order messed up and brought us squid instead of scallops, but I chalked that up to a misunderstanding, and we said we would take that too, and then he never came back.
