This restaurant saved me from all the food I had to suffer through in the area. I needed some flavor and spice in my life and I was so happy to see a well reviewed Asian restaurant not too far away. It’s a clean and quiet restaurant, not very busy when we entered and service was great. Our server was attentive and so sweet, I believe he was American or sounded like it at least. His English was very good. We got prawn crisps to start and I’m surprised we weren’t charged for it! Usually places will charge for just bread. What a refreshing change. Me and my boyfriend ordered two separate dishes and both were fantastic. I believe he got a crispy beef dish and I got the volcano chicken. Both came out on a sizzling plate so presentation was nice. Flavors were amazing and portions were perfect for the price! I wanted an extra kick and I couldn’t believe they actually had something really spicy for me to use. The waiter warned me to be careful. Would’ve came here more often if I could but didn’t get the chance. Really...
Read morechicken noodle soup was cold and tastless ,hot a sour soup was good, then my spare ribs came out, not marinated Chinese style but just 4 deep fried pork ribs and had to ask for a slice of lemon to give them some taste, main courses were both cold so told them and they were good enough to take them away but came back microwaved making the sweet and sour chicken dried up and hard, basically inedible and the rice on the beef in oyster sauce which did not taste anything like oyster sauce and no presence of any water chestnuts and bamboo shoots only chunks of courgette and raw onion, the sweet and sour chicken was rightfully replaced but once again mainly chunks of uncooked carrots and onion , on the plus side the coffee was good but not the icecream which was obviously not of any quality. Also the service was extremely slow arrived at 8.45pm and was served main course after others that had arrived after us eaten and left ,about 9.30ish ! Definitely would not...
Read moreA lovely family run Chinese restaurant. Quaint and homely ambience with the owners serving you food with utmost professionalism and warmth as well. We tried the vegetarian dishes. It was a huge relief to find good vegetarian food in El Arenal where most restaurants serve non vegetarian food. Vegetable spring rolls, Veg. Dumplings, Mixed Vegetables and Veg. Fried Rice are the veg options and we tried them all. The food was yummy and very flavourful unlike authentic Chinese food which is probably a bit bland. They seem to have added a touch of spices or curries to the original Chinese dishes. But we loved every single dish especially the veg fried rice. The food is moderately priced for the great quality of food. Must visit if you are...
