The restaurant might be the restaurant in Pollença. Went with a group of 3 sat down quickly the atmosphere was great the restaurant was well decorated. The food was amazing and the staff were absolute fantastic getting through the English Spanish language barrier alongside the chef coming around and asking how the food is this might be a simple thing but it makes the experience so much better. I had the lasagna which was the best lasagna I have ever had alongside a bottle of the local rose wine shared between the group although the name of the wine leaves me and a rum and coke. Truly an amazing experience I can’t give it enough praise my only wish being I took photos. 10/10 service, 10/10 food 10/10 seating. Location although not directly central is close to the centre making it easily accesible and easy to find with a beautiful metal sign saying respira next to the...
Read moreThe food that is served is kind of Italian but also Mallorcan, which is totally ok. Except when ordering try sticking to the Mallorcan part. We had a couple of things among which there was a tuna tartare (it tasted ok though rice on bread with some tuna with avocado, with fennel on top is not exactly a tartare, is it?). Penne with burrata had lots of tomato sauce (nice!) though it was too oily, not well balanced and had only a half of burrata. Finally the “grilled” fish was not grilled but rather fried. Neither did it look nor taste grilled and it was too dry. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she tried to convince me that this is how they grill the fish and offered me to see the kitchen. Apropos the staff is friendly and helpful until you have a complaint. Then they just try to convince you that they are right. All in all it was a disappointing meal...
Read moreno no no and no again. this is not the way to interact with customers. let me clarify - i asked which of the rosé wines could be recommended. the waitress recommended the most expensive one from the rosé list. when i joked that it was the most expensive (35 euros) (although the difference with the average from the list was only 5 euros) - she said - well look, it's not the most expensive and showed a wine for 325 euros from the limited edition wine list. the other waitress was also not very friendly. in general, it would be good to improve the level of English, maybe then the level of understanding would improve. there are no questions about the quality of the food. beef carpaccio, octopus, pork, children's pasta bolognese - everything was excellent. the management needs to talk...
