La Piemontesa — Restaurant in Reus

Dining at La Piemontesa is more than just a meal – it’s a full experience. The dishes were outstanding, bursting with flavour and exactly how I imagine an authentic Italian meal should taste. But what truly elevates the experience is the atmosphere: the décor is so charming and immersive that you might forget you're not actually in Italy.

A special mention goes to the service – our waitress, Lola, was incredibly attentive and made sure we enjoyed every moment of our visit.

Excellent location and atmosphere - in an old century building, nicely accommodated in the interior. The service and staff attention is excellent, one of the best in Reus. The location is very clean. We went there for a pizza - it was ok however we didn't enjoy the style (the base it's too dry). The prices for a pizza range around 15 euros, and we found it very expensive for what was offered. Tot i que personalment prefereixo espais minimalistes, espaiosos i lluminosos, està clar que l’aspecte industrial d’aquesta antiga fàbrica de farina que és l’edifici de la Piemontesa atrau a molta gent.

Fa anys que hi anem uns dos cops a l’any i ara, després del parèntesi de la pandèmia, hi vam tornar el passat divendres al vespre i vaig quedar-me una mica per sota de les expectatives que en visites anteriors vaig valorar en cinc estels a aquest restaurant.

Potser és el plat que vaig demanar, una pizza Piemontesa amb una vora d’aire sobredimensionada pel meu gust, i altres punts que comento més endavant, que tot i estar bé ara no valoraria amb cinc estels, si amb quatre, que ja és una molt bona valoració.

A part de pizzes i pasta també es pot escollir carn en una carta molt variada, també amb varietat de postres que sempre he trobat bons.

El sopar va sortir per uns 30 i pico d’euros per persona.

Una de les coses que van fer que el sopar no sortís “rodó” va ser que l’espai és petit, al menys la taula que ens va tocar, érem quatre persones i estàvem atapeïts.

El personal amable i atent, tot i que hi havia bastanta gent sopant i això feia que l’atenció es demorés una mica, però res a dir de la gent que ens va atendre, sols que excel·lent.
