Restaurante Panorámico — Restaurant in Ronda

Stopped by in Ronda during our visit in Spain, came across this restaurant and didn’t have a reservation, but was still seated luckily. The view was gorgeous and the staff were so kind. Our server, Dominic was fantastic. Super professional, really informative and efficient. Although we spoke minimal Spanish to him, he did understand & spoke great English. But we do like to try speak the native language when we visit somewhere where possible. Our food was excellent. We got to choose out of two choices of bread which was a nice touch. I got the Oxtail Cannelloni and it was so tasty! Very different to anything I had eaten before. I then got the chocolate cake for dessert which was so nice but I couldn’t finish it because I was so full. The restaurant was very clean as well. We were guests at the hotel and when we showed up for dinner they told us they didn't have any tables available due to reservations and we had to sit in the bar which had a limited menu. We foolishly accepted the bar seating and ordered a few starters and their burger. The burger was terrible. It tasted worse than an "impossible burger" which is hard to do. The entire time we sat at our tiny coffee table trying to have dinner they did not seat a single other table. Finally when we were leaving, they sat one table in the restaurant. We confronted the manager when we left and they said we could have sat in the restaurant no problem. Clearly no communication between the staff and management and no priority or consideration for hotel guests. Highly recommended! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the service truly set this place apart — especially thanks to the exceptional care from the manager. We had ordered the 45-day aged steak, but found the taste wasn’t quite to our liking. Without any hesitation or fuss, the manager immediately offered to replace it with another steak, which turned out to be fantastic.
