Confitería Las Campanas — Local services in Ronda

This place SCAM people!!! Be aware that they DO NOT accept card payment under 10€ as others have mentioned here. My husband and I got a coffee and churros (worth about 4€) and were not told this before we asked for the bill (there’s a very small poster on the window that says that). The churros taste and look exactly like the frozen churros from Carrefour (they cost about 1€ per bag). Definitely an up-charge and disappointment.

The waiter was rude when we asked to order something else. She told us the kitchen was closing, but when my husband asked to just order water she refused in the beginning till we insisted… (we got 2 bottles worth 2€ each). In the end we left paying 10€ but drinking and eating only for 8€ worth, as she refused to give us an extra bottle of water.

I will never come back and never recommend this place to anyone else. There are much nicer places to eat...

Had a beer and 3 tapas....all great. Both servers were quick and service with a smile. I have been in hospitality my whole life in Canada. We rely on good honest reviews. This is for people who leave one star just because they will not take Visa under a 10-€bill. Please note vat and service is included.
