I had an extremely disappointing experience at Círculo Pizzes. Upon our arrival, we were met with an astonishing level of rudeness from one of the waitstaff. Despite the establishment not being visibly overcrowded, we were bluntly refused service with the justification that the kitchen was "overwhelmed." This interaction was not only unexpected but also completely unacceptable for any hospitality business. It's a fundamental expectation that customers be treated with a minimum level of respect and courtesy, something that was glaringly absent during our visit. This incident alone has profoundly impacted my perception of Círculo Pizzes, overshadowing any potential positive aspects it might have. On September 15, 2024, I experienced firsthand how racism continues to be a deeply troubling issue in places like this. When I arrived and politely asked for a table, the owner looked me in the eye and said, "There's no table for you," despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Moments later, a British couple walked in, and without hesitation, they were seated as though space had never been an issue. It’s disheartening how such attitudes can tarnish the charm of even the most beautiful destinations.

Classic old fashioned cafe bar on the main square of Sóller with lots of local charm and a great terrace overlooking the plaza. It's actually a private member's club, but the bar and terrace are open to all. Good quality and tasty food, their fresh, home made pizzas (they are NOT frozen, as some reviewers insist on saying) and calzone are probably the best in town - and they offer a fast and efficient delivery / take away service. With friendly staff and a reasonably extensive family-friendly food and drinks menu, this makes for a popular venue to eat, or just stop by for a drink in the sun.
