Restaurant 16 — Restaurant in Sóller

Comfortably the worst restaurant I’ve eaten in this year. Garlic prawns and bravas took 1 hour to arrive. Waiter brought fried squid instead of a prawn cocktail and when we said we didn’t order it, the response with a shrug was “prawn cocktail not possible” (despite being on the menu) - so instead of letting us know this when ordering, they brought us our food after 1 hour and chose something else for us and were almost insulted when we said we didn’t want it. Drinks never arrived and the bill had extra items we never ordered on it. Mussels were inedible. 1 star is a very kind review. Both tables beside us had the same experience.

Edit to address owners response: it was not busy at all, the service was just horrendous. There are many scathing reviews below (the next review is titled “ Worst paella ever! Dirty restaurant!”) which you spend time disagreeing with instead of fixing your problems. I suggest you spend more time training your rude staff and less time arguing with...

Stunning Squid ink paella with the tenderest cuttlefish, 4 large shell on prawns and tiger prawns to boot! The serving for two is huge and beautifully served to a small wooden side table directly from the pan to your plate. Great location right on the main Soller square. Lovely servers made this a superb lunch. The house rose is a dream so I had to have two glasses and my friend had a large beer. All recommendations for this restaurant. We found it based on recommendations. Very fast service, even two waiters served us. Portions are large and very tasty. The pork is very tasty, the alioli sauce and olives are delicious. The seafood is also excellent. You can smoke in the garden. We had a situation where we found a hair in the food, the staff reacted immediately and brought a new portion for free.
