Restaurant Pizzeria Del Porto — Restaurant in Sóller

My family and myself have been here every year for the last 6 years. This family-run restaurant has been here for a long time and are the loveliest people you’d hope to meet on holiday. The food is of a great standard when considering the location and the prices. It’s a perfect place for a light lunch and a few drinks. As I understand it the principle seafood dishes are fresh, however the mixed-seafood pasta etc maybe frozen. Over the years they have made an effort to switch fish based on prices and availability, which for me is a good sign of the quality they try to maintain.

The only criticism I would make is the portions aren’t huge; but as I said, for the price, availability and location, it’s a great place for a light lunch or lots of dishes to share over drinks.

Big shout out to Jamie who’s entertained my little boy since he was a baby just moving onto solids and had his first cheesy pizza here; now 7 he’s looking forward to trying the squid (my favourite...

You can’t just sit there for a drink - the first question from waiter was „Food or just drink?” with very rude face on us Really common Allioli was the worst what we tried on whole island - just awful cheapest mayo with garlic… We ordered also pasta, which was over cooked ,with the cheapest pesto from the market. After telling and showing to the service what’s wrong with this meal ,waitress told us, that they have 40 years experience and pesto for sure is homemade, and another waiter asked that we want cream for it, what is curious… Anyway they charged for this, even if the meal was not touched, but we had to pay 18€ while that price is not exist in menu. Another meal was Escalopes with pesto, a little bit better but without taste and cold and dry chips. Definitely not...

Unfriendly older man, supermarket food would taste better.

Edit: After reading through the whole reviews section and reading all the responses from the staff. I have came to a conclusion: after 38-40 years of experience they have an open public kitchen but the pizza still taste frozen. 95% of French people doesn’t leave tips (this was said by the staff) . You shouldn’t have holidays if you are “bitter” person 😂 The funny thing is that after asking the big old man if they got some beer, i got yelled at cuz i dont understand Spanish words on the menu. 🤷🏻‍♂️ theh have survived 38-40 years because people doesnt look up reviews before they go...
