Indian spice — Restaurant in Salou

We read really good reviews about this restaurant and thought we would try it. Upon arrival we were seated quickly, however we were not given menus, napkins or cutlery and had to try and catch the attention of the staff to get some. After ordering our food it took 30 minutes to receive our poppadoms (and we received ours after another table who were seated later than us). It took an extra 1 hour 30 mins to get our main courses. Again, the table who came in after us got their food first. Another family said they had been waiting 2 and a half hours for their food. Due to it taking so long, we skipped dessert and asked for the bill. They refused to honour the set menu price as my partner ordered an additonal glass of wine which we argued against. Went here after the great reviews but we obviously went on the wrong night. Our 3 dips with our popadoms was mango chutney and the spicy onions in 2 very small dishes, we did ask for more, I hv made spicer dips at home. The onion bagi was burnt on the outside and very dry, not the usual I get, this was more like what you buy pre packed from Tesco. My main was burnt, the chicken was tasty enough but the sauce was awful left a horrible taste , a definitely been burnt to the bottom of pan taste, our cheese nam was tasty but it was spreading cheese in the middle. My husband s starter was ok as was his main but he not convinced they were home made. The staff made no attempt to ask if things were ok would we like anything else. We were here three years ago where we had a delicious dinner. This time it was horrible. The prawns were smelling badly and the same with the tikka massala. It was old and smelling badly. Have eaten Indian at least hundred times and this was by far the worst . The worst was that the restaurant owner did not acknolwedge it. The price was over 200 euros with some inflated prices for rice and so on I have the restaurant owner the opportunity to smell and taste the food. He refused and did not acknowledge it. The food was just old and reheated. Not needed guys… hope you can get the quality back that we have seen three years ago. For now we will not...
