Maradona — Restaurant in Salou

AVOID AVOID AVOID 🚨!!! We went to this restaurant last night as a large group with children from the outside looked like a nice place to eat but don’t be fooled .

So the waiter had took our order for drinks and food we received our drinks and milkshakes fairly quickly but we’re left sitting waiting on our food for nearly a hour . When food finally came to the table we had ordered 3 margarita pizzas 3 chips , 2 fatboy burger meals and onion rings all of the food was non eatable when it was served too us , Chips were all freezing cold , pizzas were cold and like rubber dried out I’d say if you chanced taking a bite you’d loose a tooth , fatboy burger was barely warm no chips with it as they were freezing too , onion rings were soggy freezing and full of grease , after handing back the food as there was no way that was going to be consumed in the poor state it was giving to us we got very little response from staff just sorry, now bare in mind we sat there waiting one hour for this monstrosity of slop to be served to us , we were all starving at this stage and just asked for the bill and decided to leave . When the waiter came down with the bill it was a 113.43 tryed charging full amount for the two fat boy burger meals even though there was no chips as they were Baltic . When quizzed about the bill and them charging basically 17.90 each for just the burger they said ooh we gave u discount of 5.97 🤣🤣.

Never ever again possibly the worst ever restaurant I have ever came across on holidays would of been better off going to MC Donald’s at least quality of food would of been much better...

If you’re looking for a bang average meal this is the place. Ordered pulled beef loaded fries and parmesan panko chicken poppers, the beef on the fries wasn’t even beef it was chicken, proven by my boyfriend who cut into it and it was white. Personally never seen white beef so it would’ve been nice to have been told that, the fries were also incredibly dry with just a measly amount of grated cheese on top, no sauce or nothing. The chicken poppers were just okay. Ordered a crepe for dessert and it came cold and somewhat undercooked, very rubbery and not a lot of filling. Overall pretty disappointing, only good thing was quick service which is probably reflected in the quality of food but even then one of the waitresses didn’t utter a single word to us. Wouldn’t return...

Visited the place at the end of May 2024 with family and friends, a party of 8 people. We spent about €230 here plus tips (personal choice, not mandatory), for mains and drinks. This restaurant, is 1 of the 9 in the chain / owners. Just to compare with another we visited from the chain, here the Red Sangria was not as good and the Grilled Mussels were a bit overdone and with too much oil / butter, hence the reason the food has only 4 stars. Also, is because throughout the holiday, anywhere we went, someone did not like something. Before haters jump in or judge, yes its hard to please 8 people, but an honest review needs to go honestly.
