Pizza Sapri — Restaurant in Salou

Absolutely terrible, came here for vacation. We decided to eat some good Italian food, we saw that this place has a 4.2 star rating so it MUST be good, right? No, it was horrible, we arrive and we see an ordering device and we decide to order from there we select on the device that we wanna eat here, we select English as our language, but the food names and descriptions are still in Spanish, no issue, right? Big issue, since my sister is vegetarian, she ordered the ravioli, but after we were done ordering, there were 2 issues. The ravioli had meat filling in it, and since the device didn't translate the descriptions, (we don't speak Spanish) we had no idea, so my mom asked the waiter if we could get something else. No, she said no, because apparently the food was already in the process of being made. Okay, can you atleast replace the meat with something else? Also no. Fine Jesus. Now remember that I said there were 2 issues, the second one was that the device you use to order (the one we ordered our food from) apparently was only for take-out, even though the machine asked us if we wanted to eat in the restaurant or if we wanted to order takeout, not as big of an issue as the first, since it only required taking the food out of the boxes so that issue was solved. The service was also garbage, waitress didn't even ask us if the food tasted well. She also went to take out the trash, when she came back, she was smoking a cigarette literally infront of the restaurant, like who does that!? Luckily the wind was blowing the opposite direction so it didn't affect us but was still annoying to see. The floor was very dirty there were leaves and food rests everywhere on the ground, didn't care too much though. Overall the whole experience was terrible, the food was good but the service and atmosphere of the restaurant were both horrible. Overall...

Rude staff. Absolutely do not recommend for tourists.

We (a couple) visited here around 5pm in April, we went to sit at one of the tables by the outdoor window, but when the waiter greeted us he seated us at the table by the entrance. He pulled the two tables apart to make it from a 4 to a 2 person table. In doing this he made the table to the side a 6 person table and made the pathway beside us. This meant that people walking past - a whole family - bumped into us and our table when exiting.

So we pulled the other table back over so there would be a straight pathway and we would not get bumped into. Plus the amount of food we ordered wouldn’t fit on a table for 2.

Bearing in mind the place is practically empty, there is only 4 tables occupied.

The waiter got angry and rude, aggressively speaking in fast Spanish that a table for 4 is 4 and for 2 is for 2. Despite the fact that 2 other Spanish couples have tables of 4 to themselves. Which I pointed out and he got more aggressive.

We offered to move but he threw his hands up and said something in a very rude tone in Spanish.

The food then arrived, pizza looked great but base was undercooked. Ribs were mediocre.

Honestly, I lost my appetite from the rude encounter with the waiter. I ate once slice and tried to pay with a different staff member so I wouldn’t have to encounter the rude waiter, but they didn’t let me. I had to pay with him.

Will never be back. Would not recommend. I read the reviews before coming.

a big thank you again to PIZZA SAPRI for having received us yesterday and for having saved my son's 6th birthday after the restaurant la teca salou (which I do not recommend) offered us a table to refuse us at our arrival. At PIZZA SAPRI you will find everything you are looking for to spend an excellent family evening. the waiters are extremely kind, everyone takes great care of you. the dishes are delicious and plentiful and are served very quickly. really 10/10 for the whole evening and the performance. and again thank you to our waitress for giving my son a smile for his 6th birthday after being turned away from the restaurant la teca salou. our waitress brought him his dessert with candles as well as small gifts and she played him the happy birthday music in French in addition so really big thank you again. I therefore recommend PIZZA SAPRI 1000 times if you are in Salou you will not regret...
