Tabaré Gastrobar — Restaurant in Salou

Very nice decoration and theme however really poor service - I visited 4 times and 3 of them something was wrong. Example: They lacked one of the deserts in their menu and proposed to bring another one with supplement (without informing priorly about the extra cost. Another example: I ordered well cooked meat, and received 2 very cold pieces of meat. They said "this was the recipe" (why didn't they inform if a customer asks well cooked should be a sign that they don't wish a cold dish?).

Overall the interaction with waiters is not smooth, it transpires as if there is tension/impatience in the place... Not very welcoming or pleasant, which is a pity because on their first weeks after opening the place in 2023 service was actually good.

Portions are rather small too. I hope they can improve and fix...

After reading the reviews and seeing the restaurant i really had high hopes. The service was good, and fast, the vibe was nice, but we had a table with directly the tv in our sight which killed a bit of the ambiance. The food looked amazing, and i can really recommend the tuna tartare.. the salmon tartare was for me quite a disappointment it was missing flavour, the salmon itself was chopped in tiny pieces and lost it's flavour.

I can recommend the sangria, it was really nice.

Pleasant interior, delicious food, unobtrusive service. I was in Tabara in winter (on video), I really liked the place, the atmosphere and the tapas, so I came back here for lunch. Thanks to Steffani for the service, very friendly and pleasant. I love restaurants with mini appetiser compliments and digestive after, you can feel the attention and care about guests of the restaurant. I had mussels, chicken and apple pie, had toasted bread with cream cheese and garlic for appetiser, and chopito of limoncello after my lunch. Gracias por todo, nos...
