Uncle Sam's — Restaurant in Salou

BLOODY amazing experience! I have to say this is the first time I ate at Uncle Sam's and I am so glad that we went as a family. The atmosphere is electric with amazing staff who really looked after us throughout. After struggling to find a cake for my daughters 5th birthday we attended with nothing but a number 5 candle. I asked one of the staff members if they could send my daughter's cake out at the end with the candle lit I wasn't expecting them to sing or anything, but gosh they came out and sang to Lavinia with the rest of the restaurant and gosh the smile on my daughter's face made my day.

We turned up as a party of 8, we didn't book and got a table albeit I reckon 30 minutes later and we would have struggled as the restaurant filled up.

Our food was AMAZING and I am not just saying that not one person in the party walked away feeling like they hadn't enjoyed their dinner. I personally had a burger dish but the burger wasn't some processed burger it had been made on site with real minced beef. Personally I hadn't tasted a home made burger like that since I was a kid and my mum who is also wonderful cook made them for us at home.

All in all, this place will definitely hit the spot with your family a great selection of food products and a lovely bunch of people who deserve to receive a great review.

Was looking forward to uncle Sam’s but when food arrived I noticed a short black hair in my food (I have long blonde hair and my partner is ginger) the waitress made out like I was lying and I had to show her where it was. No apology, took the food away and then 10 mins later she said they were making another one, by the time my food arrived everyone else was almost finished. Paid full price for the meal with not even an apology over the hair, would never recommend or return, the all inclusive in the hotel is better than uncle Sam’s and that’s saying a lot. I have heard from another person there was hair in their child’s food and they wouldn’t refund because she had started eating it, I hadn’t touched mine I was putting salt on when I noticed the hair and still wasn’t refunded so they’re not about quality or service they just want your money. Don’t be fooled by their staple of British food, they’ve got Indian chefs by the looks of it and one of them was kind enough to leave a bit of him in my food. Avoid this place. Owner & staff are so rude

We arrived at 7pm and was asked to wait in the bar up the road until a seat become available. He said 20 mins. We waited & he collected us

We then ordered at 7.30pm and by 8.20pm no food had arrived. We asked how long it would be we had a hungry tired 5 month old baby. He said there was a table of 14 prior to us so there is a wait.

I then said well it would of been nice for you to tell us prior to us ordering so we can make a decision if we want to stay.

The woman (didnt get her name) she then come back 5 mins later with her arms crossed called us a liar said we entered at 7.30 she has checked the cameras. She proved our point was right she clearly cannot tell the time as it was 8.20 therefore had already waited 50 mins.

When the owner came over she changed her tune massively and said she never said this to us.

We then asked if we could pay for our water and leave as the food stil hadnt arrived, they said no.

When the food did come out 8.30pm she dropped some of it on the floor and we had to pay the full amount 🤣 Disgusting place disgusting staff would...
