In reality the location of this little bar isn't very alluring. You're sat in one of those slightly 'downstairs' roads that proliferate in Play del Ingles and no-one could call it dreamy. 20 seats inside and out at most and tour view is a large wall and parked cars.
That said the welcome was warm though one of the staff didn't speak much English (I think we were the only tourists in, so the locals clearly represent the majority of customers).
We went specifically because the bar sold craft beer, which is rare in Gran Canaria, and we'd had our fill of Tropical etc. They periodically update their beer list on Untappd (those who know know!) which is how we found it.
We didn't eat but had we been hungry then the burgers that were being sent out from the kitchen would have definitely been ordered. They looked wonderful.
If you do decide to go for the beer then there's a mixture of Belgian bottles, a couple of drafts (can't recall which but the video on their site does show Punk from Brewdog) and Spanish breweries. Some I've seen in the UK, many definitely not. Naparbier as an example of the former, but Freddo Fox and DouGalls were totally new to me.
Craft beer fans won't be surprised to know that it's not cheap. Think 7 Euro for a 330ml or 440ml can/bottle and you won't go far wrong. Slightly cheaper than the equivalent in the UK.
Hopefully this will help people who are curious. The place is not for everyone, but it's genuine, seems to serve good food, and the beer...

The most shocking part: when we complaint to his colleague, he came back to us and corrected us that the other customer called herself fat. We felt unwelcomed and he never apologised for his actions.
Thanks to his colleague (the only lady) who then made our experience worth it, she apologised, and she kept asking us if everything is okay. The burgers were quite...
Read moreA couple of friends and I decided to drop by the B2 BurgerBar after running a search for craft beers on Google and my impression of the B2 BurgerBar is that it’s a small bar, with a good selection of craft ales and very friendly staff.
I would have been happy to recommend it was it not for the price of the drinks. A can of IPA for €9, or porter for nearly €10 is way beyond what’s reasonable. You can find other places nearby selling the same beers for €6 or less and the brewery sells it for around €4 if you decide to pay a visit to the taproom some 20 minutes away by car.
If you have a lot a disposable income and like craft beer, this is the place for you, as it offers a great choice of beers. If you’re on a budget, or not prepared to pay outrageously high prices, and love craft ales, you better avoid this place and do a bit a googling.
I’m truly sorry I cannot give a better rating because the service is good and friendly but the drink prices are bordering on...
