Canary Lounge — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Waited long for the main meal. Burgers have been brought to another table after an odyssey through the restaurant where one burger almost fall from the plate. Some minutes later they found out, picked the burgers from the table brought them to the kitchen and few moments later to our table. Only reason why there was not eaten from the burgers was that this had been the only 2 meals on the table of a group of 8 people… Waiters denied that this are the same burgers BUT the guy on the other table cut through the burger and exactly that cut was in the meat of our burger as well. They changed only the top bun in the kitchen to hide the cut there… this is an absolut NoGo! They didn’t ask if the food is good as done on each other table around us - they exactly knew this have been the same burgers! Could probably been more stars when the waiters stood to the situation other than lying on it and would have offered another burgers. Canary Lounge is a must-visit spot if you're looking for delicious cocktails. We had a great time sipping on their amazing drinks, served in large glasses. What's even better is that they're reasonably priced at €6 or €7 for a big glass.

The service at Canary Lounge is top-notch. The staff is super friendly and enthusiastic, making sure you have a fantastic experience. And there's a nice detail: they give you a complimentary shot of liquor when you pay your bill.

One thing I'd suggest is improving the overall look of the place. The seating area is nice, but the kitchen where the food is prepared feels a bit crowded with bright white lights. Making some changes in that area would definitely attract more customers.

Das schlimmste, was ich je erlebt hab. Kellner und Koch (wenn man ihn so nennen will) waren völlig überfordert und hatten überhaupt keine Ahnung von dem, was sie da tun. Das Essen kam einzeln und mit riesigen Abständen. Auf ein Bier haben manche 20 Min. gewartet. Die Flasche Wein für die Frauengruppe brauchte ca. 40 Min.. Die Tatsache, dass die Karte so vielseitig ist, bringt natürlich auch nichts, wenn man gar nichts davon richtig kochen kann. Die "Tapas" beim zweiten Besuch (mit Reisegruppe vorab reserviert) hatten rein gar nichts mit Tapas zu tun. Wieder viel zu lange Abstände zwischen den Gängen und fernab von akzeptabel. Was sollen denn Lachsschnittchen bei Tapas? Die Kartoffeln kamen als alle schon dachten, das Essen wäre durch. Und als Überraschung, zehn Minuten später die Soße. Danach noch etwas, was wohl Empanadas sein sollten und, das absolute Highlight, dazu süß-saure Soße! Danke für nichts. Drei Personen aus der Gruppe haben einzeln ihre Rechnung angefordert. Die längste Wartezeit hier lag bei ca. 30 Min.. Man könnte noch einiges aufführen, aber das abschließende Fazit war; der Laden ist ne schlechte Imbissbude mit viel zu vielen Tischen. Und man sollte auf jeden Fall wissen, daß es für die ca. 35 + x Tische (konnte nicht genau zählen) nur eine einzige kleine Toilette gibt, gegen die eine Bahnhofstoilette in Berlin-Mitte ein Spa ist. Diese Toiletten sind seit ihrer Erbauung nicht mehr angefasst worden. Mussten sie auch nicht. Denn der Anspruch der GC Urlauber scheint kontinuierlich abgenommen zu haben. Was man auch an den Bewertungen hier sehen kann. An der Küste scheint es nicht viele gute Restaurants zu geben. Aber das hier würde ich zusätzlich sehr weit unten einordnen. Der Blick auf's Meer entschädigt in keinster Weise für das grauenhaft schlechte Essen und den stümperhaften, kundenverachtenden Service. Zumal es den Ausblick dort praktisch überall gibt. Fahrt zum Essen lieber nach Meloneras an die Promenade beim Leuchtturm. Das Essen kostet vielleicht zwei Euro mehr, dafür wissen die Kellner und Koch was sie tun und es gibt Toiletten bei denen man keine Angst haben muss, sich die...
