Ordered our food at 8pm in a fairly crowded but emptying restaurant. As people finished their meals however the levels of cigarette smoke around us rose - obviously the Spanish regulations on smoking in enclosed spaces don’t apply in this particular restaurant. We ignored the smoke fug as the food being delivered to other tables did look extremely appetising. Forty-five minutes later our two pizzas and one pasta meal had not been delivered. The group of ten or so people dining together on a nearby table had still all not been served - those that had been served first had already finished their meal and had it cleared away. After 45/50minutes our English reserve was exhausted and we asked when our food would be served. A quick visit to the kitchen by the overworked waitress revealed that our meals weren’t yet being prepped and wouldn’t be ready for, “some time yet.” She comped our drinks and we left. Overall a very disappointing visit. The previous night we ate at the Canary Lounge - literally next door. Service was fast, friendly, the food good - and no...
Read moreI would give 5 stars for its location, vibe and… its cocktails !!! Those are nice, worth the price. 4 stars only for service as it really depends on staff team. Went there several times and vibe were not exactly the same. 1 star only for the food but a 0 would also fits. I asked “home made / recommendations “ … burgers were recommanded so I tried. Well, nothing was good there … beef steak was recomposed piece of meat with so much salt that we couldn’t tell what it was. The fried onions were frozen ring onion deep fried ! Parmesan cheese tasteless for an Italian Restaurant…. Anyway, the dish matches my suspicion when I see over 100 dishes on menu. However, when you asked “a home made “, it is expected to get 1 of the few dishes that are made with fresh food. Obviously…. There isn’t except those local dishes such as Canadian potatoes or fried green peppers… very...
Read moreAn allround very good restaurant. The food is typically italian with a great taste, accompanied by some spanish dishes. The starters, some of which are Tapas are a bit too pricy for my liking, mine was just one euro short of my main course! Speaking of which, the main courses are priced very well. One thing that disappointed me a little, was the coffee, which for an Italian restaurant was way below my expectations. My americano was quite weak and watery. However the location, decorations, seats and tables are among the loveliest I have seen so far in the vicinity. At night they also bring out heaters and the tables are protected from the wind at all the sides by windbarriers with windows towards the ocean. Eating there was all together a nice experience and I will definitely consider...
