I am Stevie and my wife is called Lynsey and my daughter is called Orlaith. We come from Glasgow Scotland and we were looking for somewhere to celebrate my wife's birthday. I looked on line for somewhere local to our apartment. This place came with amazing reviews about the place,the food and the staff. I genuinely agree 100 percent and more. Andrea and Braulio could not be any more helpful. It opened at 6pm and we were the first customers into the place. As it was 8pm first booking on line. The music was amazing. Old British bands that my wife was loving. The food was amazing. So tasty and so much cheaper than the UK as we get totally ripped off for good food. I would definitely recommend the place. El Mocán is an absolute must-visit if you’re in Gran Canaria. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a warm, welcoming vibe that immediately makes you feel at home. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and absolutely wonderful with children — something that really stood out to us.

One of the highlights is the smell of charcoal that fills the air, adding to the unique dining experience. The open kitchen lets you watch your cut of meat being grilled over the coals, which is a fantastic touch.

The food is delicious! The entrecôte is perfectly tender and flavorful, the empanadas are tasty, and the side dishes are just as satisfying. Even vegetarians will find tasty and well-thought-out options on the menu.

To top it all off, we were offered a complimentary shot at the end of the meal — a perfect finishing touch.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Maspalomas, probably in entire Gran Canaria! I cannot recommend it enough. We went here on one of our first vacation days and after trying multiple other places, it is simply uncomparable. We have now been here 4 times in a week. The meat is literally FIRE, we tried every kind of steak! The burger is juicy, full of taste. Every piece of meat is delightful, smoky and full of wonderful taste. The desserts are also beautifully plated and very tasty.

On top of the food, the atmosphere is amazing, the internal decor is stylish and music is fabulous! We loved the Mojitos and the service is simply fabulous. Everyone is super nice and smiling.
