After a disappointing meal at gio restaurante (See my previous review to understand what happened), I was hesitant to try another restaurant nearby. But I’m so glad I gave Restaurante K8 a chance. My first visit (photos 1 & 2) completely changed the mood of my evening. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful. I had the breaded chicken breast with fries and a Canarian draft beer. Simple, yet delicious. The service was warm and welcoming, and the vibe was relaxed.
What truly made me return again (photos 3 to 6) was the consistency. On my second visit, I went for the grilled entrecôte with pepper sauce, accompanied by wine and dessert. Every single bite was amazing, perfectly cooked meat, tasty veggies, and one of the best pepper sauces I’ve had in a while. I ended the evening with a generous scoop of ice cream. Pure joy!
Special mention to Bruno, who made both visits even more enjoyable with his friendly energy and attention to detail. Thanks to him, this restaurant quickly became my go-to spot during my holiday.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality food, great ambiance, and lovely service in Playa del Inglés (exactly at...
Read moreDisappointing meal here although my partner did enjoy his food. Mine, however, was underwhelming. I had the prawn cocktail as a starter which was served in an ice cream sundae glass which was half full of liquid - possibly from the whole tinned pineapple ring added as decoration. I then had the chicken and beef tenderloin skewer which I was advised would be served with French fries and vegetables...no vegetables in sight, just a poorly executed side salad. As for the skewer they should have removed "tender" from the description as both the beef and chicken were overcooked, dry, and tough. Our original server didn't come to check on us throughout the meal and it was only at the end when another server asked how our meal was that I was able to advise that the food was overcooked. The lady advised that my comments would be passed onto the "chef". I certainly wouldn't return as it was one of the worst meals I've had in...
