We searched out 'great breakfasts' in Playa de Ingles online and stumbled on Kim's Bar.

So glad that we did as we'd probably not have found it on the off chance with it being located off the main drag.

This is definitely a mecca for English breakfast enthusiasts on holiday. And if it wasn't for me, wanting to show support for the fellow brit owner, I'd rather have kept this place a secret to ensure that there's always a seat available.

With the rest of the resort struggling, Kim's bar has found it's neich by proving tourists with a little bit of home comfort.

Sausages, bacon, black pudding is all on point and backed up with a generous amount of beans and other trimmings.

For those contemplating substandard English breakfast's in your all-inclusive boxes of doom then get yourselves out into the streets and show a little support for those that are doing it properly.

Kim's bar is easily at the top of the breakfast list with prices that make it a daily...

Load of rubbish not made welcome and food was dreadful.. Peppered chicken was thin bit of chicken cut in to bits laid on plate so it looked more, about 10 frozen chip hardly anything on the plate I'm sure they split the last chicken breast so we both could have it cos was ow ah with the chef when we ordered. Save your money and go else where me and my partner couldn't wait to leave maybe not LGBT friendly but most of the good reviews are dated or from the ex pats who live here don't be fooled. We have been to Gran Canarias 2-3 times a year [before covid] for the past 10 years+ The common denominator of our visits has been Kims Bar. The furniture may be basic but this is surpassed by the quality of the food and the staff. They will always point you in the right direction when you want to know where somewhere is or need to get something. They saved us 40 euros by suggesting a particular clinic to get our fly home covid tests. Kims is not just a bar its a community. You can give Craig and Andy 'a bit of stick' they love it! :) but expect to get some back! Look forward to seeing the crew at Kims again soon. Love to all...
