As of the rest, I cannot write anything appreciative. We reserved a place in advance just so we can celebrate a birthday here. We asked during the reservation if they can do anything special on this occassion, but the waiter/manager dismissed us saying they don't do anything like that... fair enough.
When the day came we picked a slightly more pricey wine and they forgot to bring a glass to the celebrated person. They "assumed" only 2 people will be drinking.
The prices for the food are high end. A metropolitan restaurant in a capital charges the same if not less for the food, but unfortunately what we wanted was gone by 8:30 (!). So we settled for something else... when the food finally came, and it did take a while, it was plain at best.
Saltless, small, pale portions, with sad garnish. The vegan burger is literally not recommended, although, the actual stakes were not much better either.
When it came to payment, we needed to split the bill. Half cash and half card. The waiter decided it is the easiest for him to take the liberty and put all on card, and when I offered him cash he pushed (!) my hand aside forcefully and said that I should have told him earlier. He then asked me how much it is we want to pay on card. Never ever have I met a waiter who asked this question. He then decided he will round up 37 to 40 Euros so he doesn't need to calculate anything, which I refused to accept.
The bill came together for €105 and it did not add up at all. Food items costing €21 were magically €2-€4 more expensive on the receipt. If only they gave us a great experience I would not have worried about extra charges and tipping but this whole experience was just plain disappointing.
If you are looking for a lovely experience, search somewhere else. This is not the place. They spoilt an otherwise...
Read morePrimarily a steak house featuring many aged cuts of meats and those more affordable non-aged cuts. I think this restaurant has great potential. Off the beaten path, featuring food that is way better than most Maspalomas restaurants (but meat centric). Most nights they offer live piano playing, but Monday’s they feature an awful electronic dj which totally ruined the evening (esp outdoor seating) and was the antithesis of why anyone would choose this restaurant (shame on restaurant).
The table next to us se t to pasta bolognese back because the were cold. We sent our chateaubriand back because it was rare (ordered medium). Both scenarios the staff gladly accepted the return and corrected the order but at the expense of the diners. No apologies, bill adjustments etc.
The chateaubriand was good but not as tender or flavorful as we would expect in the USA. Vegetable over cooked and mushy.
I gave this a 4* because I believe this restaurant is capable of more. Their aged steaks looked marvelous and their staff seemed adequate. I’m banking on- we picked a night that was below par but likely won’t get to try this again.
We walked several miles from our hotel to this location and back again. We felt safe and were glad we went. Other more local cuisines exist in the area if you look and I encourage You do so.

This is a thick fillet so if you normally like it medium rare, I recommend you order it medium. The beef tenderloin with garlic sauce was divine. Very garlicky in flavour, maybe have the sauce on the side if you're not into lots of sauce. We ordered a bottle of the red 22 pies Crianza (perfect for meat dishes) and the white bottle was the Verdejo 2022 rueda. This went fabulously with the langoustines with lemon and salt. We got a plate to share for 4. Id have eaten that to myself it was so delicious. Mohamed and Abram were fantastic waiters.
