Savoy Restaurant — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Absolutely amazing restaurant run by a father and son who are classic chefs in French cuisine. We had the best steak and sole a la meuniere ever.

Also the best dessert during our vacation: the Crepes Suzette. This is a dish that needs considerable skill and time to make, so to keep this on the menu while it's always busy is evidence that Savoye stands for quality instead of quantity.

This is also to be seen in a lot of other little aspects: the cloth napkins, the fresh rose on the table, the pouring of a digestif right at the table. The waiters were all kind and very professional.

We came here ten years ago and were delighted that the quality is still outstanding. As with many restaurants, the're a bit understaffed so please be patient with this kind people. The diner is well...

Illegal Prices (read law below) !! But very good food

We went to this restaurant and saw that in the card it is written that the prices are "without IGIC tax included". This is totally illegal based on the Spanish law: "Ley 44/2006, de 29 de diciembre, de mejora de la protección de los consumidores y usuarios" where it is mentionned "[...] 7.d Las condiciones esenciales del contrato, en particular sobre sus condiciones jurídicas y económicas y la información sobre el precio completo, incluidos los impuestos, o presupuesto, en su caso. En toda información al consumidor sobre el precio de los bienes o servicios, incluida la publicidad, se informará del precio final completo, desglosando, en su caso, el importe de los incrementos o descuentos que sean de aplicación, de los gastos que se repercutan al consumidor y usuario y de los gastos adicionales por servicios accesorios, financiación u otras condiciones de pago similares.[...]" meaning that on the card has to appear the FINAL PRICE with taxes included. In this Law it is also mentionned that they are not allowed to invoice you for food you did not ordered (e.g. starters), for reservation of a table or for simply occupiying a chair. These last costs were not present in this restaurant but if you read this I would like to make you aware of that in case you experience that in other turistic places.

This restaurant try to trick you on the ticket. We complained about this and they are aware of the law as they gave us back the value of the tax before paying the meal without further discussion. (In case a restaurant would oblige you to pay These taxes additionally of the card prices you can refuse to pay and call the police for further clarifications.) Even though they are fully aware about this, they continue trying to trick tourists which are not aware about this law.

Besides that the food was really delicious!

My recommendation to the restaurant is to stop tricking people and increase their prices on the card if they think they have to do so. But please, reflect final prices to the customers. In my opinion it is not acceptable to find this situation in such restaurant class.

Sorry but the Christmas Meals in this restaurant was not good. 2 times wrong fish and to small 5x6 cm ,to dry fish for 30,euro. And one piece off salad 4 cm .grazy . Coffee Bailey cold..we can not make this coffee hot pffff . I order T-bone steak price 6,50 for 100gram. Okay give me 300 gram..meat was good but the bill 36,50 peps that’s the price for 600 gram .. I now many people like it here but our table was not good,and than they say come next time back ..maybe we come back but not before 2025 and we are no toeristen. Mistake is not problem,but 4...
