Wok Alcampo - Buffet libre — Restaurant in San Cristóbal de La Laguna

The food was great, the spicy chicken and the beef was amazing, also the seafood and the sushi. They have a variety of sauces, sweets and ice cream. The open buffet for taking the food by yourself is open only for sweets and ice cream, but you can order anything from the menu, no matter how many times (of course, you have to finish the food before ordering again). The waiters don't speak english very well but they understand you and they try to help you with anything you want. The beverages are not included in the price of the all-you-can-eat buffet. We went there in a group of 9 people and we shared different types of food they had. Lamentable, primera y ultima vez. Ya no es por el precio respecto a la variedad (el del meridiano esta mucho mejor), ni por la imagen o estado de la comida, la carne cruda (parece que es de 1 dia o 2 antes) o los platos algunos frios, sin reponer la bandejas...

El principal motivo por el que no volvere es el servicio de la gerente china, es lamentable, en 35 años, y despues de vivir en 4 paises no me habia pasado nada parecido. Al coger el primer plato del buffet, le dije que me sentaria en una de las mesas de la terraza donde preferia estar, me dice de mala manera "noo, tu aqui en esta mesa! (en la puerta)", al creer que no me habia entendido porque parece que no habla muy bien, le digo "no, perdone prefiero alli", y responde muy estresada, "no, tu aqui asi yo te veo!! (imagino que se referia a que asi podria vigilarme por si me iba sin pagar)". Estaba flipando en colores...

Por desgracia ya tenia el primer plato servido, y por educacion no le dije que me iba, y que se metiera el plato por donde le cupiese. Una experiencia lamentable, que si lees esto podras evitarte.

No te bases en las reviews que le dan 5 estrellas, todo perfectamente colocado en las fotos, fotos con el restaurante vacio y a ras de plato, como si fuera un anuncio, seguramente hecho por la gente que trabaja alli, para compensar tantos comentarios negativos, no...

For a little shopping mal buffet I have to say that they were delicious. We ordered the buffet and it was very nice. I wouldn't say that it was the biggest buffet but it is enough to get full and taste delicious, fresh things. I think the cooks did a good job in cooking, too. I didn't try the grill stuff (raw meat getting cooked) but I liked everything from the soup till the desert....
