This is a fairly new restaurant to the row of restaurants by the sea in Golf del Sur and is clearly struggling to find its feet at present. In fairness, had JKs not been closed, we probably wouldn’t have gone there, but I’m glad we did as the food is very good. My wife opted for a chicken curry and when it came I couldn’t believe the amount of chicken on her plate. She doesn’t do hot and spicey, but this was a lovely aromatic curry with pineapple on the Kerman style and came with boiled rice. She thoroughly enjoyed it but couldn’t quite eat it all so I finished the last few mouthfuls which were delicious. I had gone with something of a backup for the wife with a Lasagne and found it very pleasurable. It was a good portion size with plenty of meat and I was pleasantly surprised. It came on its own, but a piece or two of garlic bread would have gone down nicely. Both dishes cost just €7.18 each and with a large beer and a water the bill was just under €19 which I thought was great value. We didn’t want a starter and it seems there are no puddings which is a shame, but I do hope people start using this place as they had little custom whilst we were there, but the food was really good. They seemed to be lovely people running it, although English was a difficulty for them. Would we go back? Yes, most certainly and the food was far better than the Sakura Tiepanyaki next door which we tried some days previous. Just to add that we have just been back to this restaurant tonight and I had a sirloin steak with chips. It was cooked to perfection and was bigger than most steaks I get served back home in the UK and half the price. Wife had Hawaiian chicken which she enjoyed and we found they do sell one pudding which we tried, a gooey chocolate thing with whipped cream which we shared and was very nice and cost just €3. I just hope they are not under selling themselves as it’s great food at...
Read moreIn fairness and reading the reviews. This places seems to be really nice and good quality so keep that in mind... however experienced a situation where we was all served a bunch of absolute dire round of drinks which scared us off the food. A smoothie is supposed to be smooth, rich with flavour. Not waterery, Flavourless and depressing. 80euros for that.. no chance!! We payed the money for respect as us English do. but a massive improvement is needed in making drinks with flare and pernach.. shame really was looking forward to the grub.
The waitress was smiley and nice and chef which is...
Read moreService was a shambles. Waited more than 5mins to get a menu (no it was not busy) and 30 mins for carbonara, with bread as a starter. Only one choice of cold white wine, starter of bread with mojo came as just bread (after one of the two ordered main meals). Main meals arrived more than 5 mins apart. Spoons for the spaghetti delivered after we started eating. Even had to ask for the bill, having been ignored. Would definitely not recommend, despite the...
