Wok Chinatown is a fantastic all you can eat Restaurant if you like Chinese food. Cold table to choose from. shell fish, salads, meats and seaweeds..all presented very well and extremely lovely. Menu on tables and you can choose any number you want to eat from Soups, Meats, Shell fish, Vegetables, Noodles and Rice Dishes and when you have finished all the wonderful dishes you can eat, Sweets are available. Also a cold table with Fresh fruit, Various Gateaux, Iceceams all beautifully presented. The one thing the Restaurant askes is if you order it you eat it. Any plate left will be charged at €3.00 surplus. This is one of the best Chinese Restaurants in Tenerife in fact I have been to anywhere. I would recommend it. Try it for yourself. 2022 Since the Pandemic there is no Cold Table large Salad bar with all the shell fish dishes or soft and crusty rolls. But there are still 100 dishes to choose from on the menu and as long as you eat them you can have them. Still at a great buy at £14.95 per adult and £7.95 per child. I still Recommend you try for yourself. Since Covid this restaurant is still fantastic and good value for money but you no longer have the Salad tables with cooked meats and shell fish for all to serve themselves. There is still a menu with over 100 dishes to choose from and everything is cooked fresh as you order and you can still order as many items as you want but you need to be able to eat it if you order it. Or a sur-charge will be added to bill. So No waste that is especially good. Excellent price, friendly and helpful staff. I certainly would recommend. I visited Wok Chinatown again.. menu is excellent with over 100 dishes to choose from and all cooked fresh for you. A great time had by all opens 12 midday well...
Read moreThe food at this Chinese buffet is fantastic, especially the duck—absolutely amazing! Everything we’ve tried, from the grilled fish and cuttlefish to the sushi and sashimi, has been fresh and delicious. The fried rice cooked in a wok is also a standout. The value is unbeatable, and we love the concept of freshly made, unlimited dishes rather than a standard buffet setup.
However, service can be hit or miss. Orders are often forgotten, and it’s clear the staff is overwhelmed. Management needs a better system—maybe a non-verbal ordering option like a flag to signal when you want more food. One employee, a tall, skinny guy who speaks Spanish, has been consistently rude, so we avoid him. On the other hand, the Chinese workers are always friendly, smiling, and attentive, and we enjoy tipping them for their great attitude.
Some small improvements—like a cleaner ice cream station with napkins or gloves—would go a long way. Also, a soda refill station would be a nice touch. Despite the service issues, we’ll keep coming back for the amazing food and great value. Pro tip: park on the upper level and avoid busy holidays for the...
Read moreWe went on Sunday midday and the place was full, there was no table available and we had to wait for about 20mins. There wasn't a person appointed to welcome the people in, offer a table or ask for the order. In fact, this was the first time when we came here and we didn't know how things work and noone really explained anything. The waiter's seemed to be very busy; probably sunday it's busier than usual, given the fact that was Father's Day when we went. Anyways the waiters were friendly. The food comes out fresh, you order from the menu what would you like to eat and they cook it for you right there and then. We had to wait about 30mins for the food to come which is quite a long time. However, we ordered some cold food sushi and that came pretty fast. The taste of the food was really nice and we enjoyed it very much. They have a big variety of food to choose from, including sea food. Probably if I would return I would go on a weekday when it's probably less busy. Would recommend...
