It was a bit of a cold reception, I feel like as an American I get that almost everywhere in Spain but it was unbearably hot inside, so I took my wine outside. They were having a special event so maybe I misunderstood something & she served me even though I wasn't supposed to be there? This place was recommended by the concierge at the Hotel Maria Cristina. A bit of a walk (15min), but so glad we went. The bar has 30+ Spanish wines by the glass and even more bottles. We started with a couple glasses of sherry that we had only seen on our trip to Jerez. Next, we ordered a bottle of grower champagne that was recommended by the owner (Carolina). The best food experience in San Sebastián we had. Every glass we had was amazing and the story behind every wine was interesting. The food paired well with every wine that we had. Especially the attention of the owner/sommelier was spot on. I learned a lot about Spanish wines and wines in particular.
