We had an unpleasant experience. The service was too long, we had to wait one hour to discover they had one of our order wrong, confusing the grilled octopus with a grilled chicken, due to the language barrier. Both the chicken and the tacos were way under standard for Donostia. Also las patatas bravas was mediocre. They told us they could change the chicken with any other dish remained (the octopus was already finished), but after one hour of waiting we didn't want to wait again. They told us they would have brought some bread, which never arrived. We had our napkins completely wet due to the sidro, and they didn't bring new ones. If I could rate food, service, and value for money a 10/5, I would. Apart from the amazing food, the service we received was just superb! Our little one was provided entertainment, I was offered plenty an option for hot sauced when I briefly quipped how I liked spicy food, and all the freebies! We went today to have early dinner and despite having other tables to be served, the lone barista/waiter (Laulade? Sorry I don't think I got his name right), provided us service that was so personal and thoughtful. It speaks volumes and elevates San Sebastian hospitality. I would 100% recommend!

While in San Sebastián I ate at this restaurant every day. The venue itself is clean and stylish. The location is right next to the beach which is ideal after a long beach day. The hospitality of the waiters was bar none. They were kind and gave excellent recommendations and service. Pejo and Ali were master servers and I consider them my friends.
