How does this place get 4.7 average stars.

Cool logo aside I thought this place was not worth the effort. I’m not a tough reviewer but the coffee from here (and the hot chocolate) were deeply disappointing.

The barista seemed like he had given up on life and this reflected in the coffee too…

My oat flat white tasted like steamed oat milk and little/no coffee. I would have order dairy but they had not regular milk in stock.

I usually love Syra (I’ve frequented their locations in Barcelona and Girona), and the barista here was very kind. But selling packages of coffee beans that were roasted a month ago is criminal. Beans that old should be discounted; as someone who grinds their own beans, I definitely taste the deterioration in flavor. Also, that particular bag of beans was recommended by the barista, so I bought it without checking the roasting date. Very disappointed in this and will be going to other Donostia craft coffee establishments for my regular...

I go to a Syra store in Barcelona a lot and they are great but not the same experience at this one. Two people pushed in front of me but the barista didn’t say anything even though it was really obvious what had happened. Then when I was paying I gave the barista my Syra app to get loyalty points but she didn’t bother to do it so I got no points. Overall felt the service was really poor which is a shame because it’s great at the Barcelona...
