Three of us had variations of the menu of the day for €20 euros. Overall, it was worth the price, with an appetizer, main course, dessert, and drink. Plenty enough to fill you up. If you order wine, you receive a full bottle of white or red with your plate. The white wine with my meal was pleasant, fruity, not too sweet. I had stuffed peppers as an appetizer, breaded chicken breast as the main course, and rice with milk for dessert. It was all good, around 4.0 for the food. Good service. We were seated quickly. The food began to arrive soon after ordering.
The second visit, a male employee told us there wasn't space, and it would be a long wait -- even though only one party of 4 was in line. He was very negative and begin telling a female employee that he told us there was no room. We think they didn't want to serve us because it was towards the end of lunch hour, or for being tourists. But they still had the lunch menu up. They continued to ignore us....

English Spoken : Very Limited. The waitress understood a little English but spoke only Spanish.
Feeling of Welcome : Not particulary. Service staff seemed really annoyed, with one older lady going up and down the bar with a cold glare. Zero smiles.
Ambience : Typical of pintxos bars. Well lit, clean, spacious.
Service: A little unsure about this one. As mentioned, not a lot of smiles and an air of annoyance. We did seem to be ignored for quite a while with a lot of rearranging of glassware rather than serving us. On entry, no greeting and tended towards avoidance.
Location : A little away from the old town. An easy walk.
Food : Octopus was quite nice as was the tortilla de patatas. The rest were average.

Ya de por sí me parecía caro el menú entre semana a pesar de ser san sebastián pero fuimos por probar ya que era el cumpleaños de mi pareja. El ambiente no era muy atractivo para los precios que ofrecían. Yo no pedí menú porque ni siquiera incluían la tarta de queso con mermelada de arándanos de postre entre sus opciones. Pedí un único plato de 15€ que me pareció más un entrante, gambas a la plancha, con una ensalada muy básica de aderezo. Apenas comí nada pero bueno, sobre este plato tampoco puedo exigir mucho, es lo que es. Pedí de postre la tarta de queso con mermelada de arándanos esperando irme con un buen sabor de boca. Me guié por las fotos de su televisor que utilizan para publicitar sus productos y me llevé una gran decepción ya que cobran 6,50€ por una tarta de queso que, aunque el tamaño es abundante, estaba fría y tenía buen sabor, la mermelada de arándanos brillaba por su ausencia. Decidí preguntarle a la camarera que tampoco era la reina de la alegría y me dijo que la mermelada de arándanos ahora la ponían en el plato cuando en realidad era coulis como de fresa para decorar, supuestamente porque a los clientes no les gustaba la mermelada de arándanos por encima. No me creí nada. Cuando uno pide una tarta de queso que además especifica que es con mermelada de arándanos espera encontrarse eso por encima, es lo habitual en la mayoría de restaurantes que la ofrecen y es la magia del postre. Nadie que ve eso en una carta y además la muestran en la TV se queja porque la echen por encima. La camarera quiso darme gato por liebre pero no. Un restaurante muy mediocre al que tacho de mi lista y desde luego no es un lugar al que ir a comer para celebrar...
