On the corner of the road leading down to the harbour (or if your driving leading out of the harbour) the place looks like a bit of a throwback to the holiday restaurants of 20 to 30 years ago. No great effort made to create a feel of a Chinese, food ok. All hot and well cooked but really nothing special. If you're in need of a Chinese food fix whilst in Cala D'or it maybe worth a look but most of the menu items we have come to expect from Chinese restaurants in the Uk are missing and the menu is pretty basic. Has to be the worst thing we’ve eaten on this holiday… Starters arrived within minutes of ordering which instantly rang alarm bells. Ribs, satay chicken and spring rolls were ordered and all tasted bland. The Mains came, again, rather too quickly for my liking. All the meat was chewy and slimy. My wife’s beef and mushrooms had an awful funny taste to it, out of 9 of us, nobody was prepared to eat it! Food was really fresh, used fresh ingredients no soft vegetables all food was amazing. We had the chicken satay skewers to share for a starter, then I had sweet and sour chicken and my partner had the sizzling Chinese noodles without pork or prawns as she wanted chicken only. Everything from the prawn crackers to the mains were delicious and fresh, lady was very kind and attentive with great service. Hard to find a Chinese like this...
