Das Restaurant S'ancora in 07660 Cala d'Or, Balearen, Spanien, ist ohne Zweifel ein Juwel am Jachthafen. Meine Partnerin und ich hatten das Glück, einige ihrer köstlichen Gerichte zu probieren, und wir können ehrlich sagen, dass es eines der besten kulinarischen Erlebnisse war, die wir je hatten.

Die Pasta, die wir bestellt hatten, war hervorragend - al dente gekocht, übersät mit hochwertigen Zutaten und von ausgezeichneter Geschmackstiefe. Der Tiramisu und der Schokoladenkuchen waren ebenfalls ein Hochgenuss. Beide waren wunderbar ausgewogen in der Süße und hatten genau die richtige Textur.

Abgesehen von der köstlichen Küche bietet das S'ancora auch einen hervorragenden Service. Der Keller war äußerst zuvorkommend, sehr kenntnisreich und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns stets wohl fühlten.

Ein weiteres Highlight unseres Besuches war die atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Jachthafen. Es war ein echter Genuss, unser Essen mit solch einer malerischen Kulisse zu genießen.

Insgesamt ist das S'ancora ein Ort, den man nicht verpassen sollte, wenn man in Cala d'Or ist. Fünf Sterne von uns!

The S'ancora Restaurant in 07660 Cala d'Or, Balearic Islands, Spain, is without a doubt a jewel on the marina. My partner and I had the pleasure of sampling some of their delicious dishes, and we can honestly say it was one of the finest culinary experiences we've ever had.

The pasta we ordered was superb - cooked to al dente, scattered with quality ingredients, and of excellent depth of flavor. The tiramisu and the chocolate cake were also a delight. Both were wonderfully balanced in sweetness and had just the right texture.

Aside from the scrumptious cuisine, S'ancora also offers top-notch service. The cellar was extremely accommodating, very knowledgeable, and ensured we were always comfortable.

Another highlight of our visit was the breathtaking view of the marina. It was a real treat to enjoy our meal with such a picturesque backdrop.

All in all, S'ancora is a spot not to be missed when in Cala d'Or. Five stars from us!

El Restaurante S'ancora en 07660 Cala d'Or, Islas Baleares, España, es sin duda una joya en el puerto deportivo. Mi pareja y yo tuvimos el placer de probar algunos de sus deliciosos platos, y podemos decir honestamente que fue una de las mejores experiencias culinarias que hemos tenido.

La pasta que pedimos estaba excepcional - cocida al dente, salpicada con ingredientes de calidad y de excelente profundidad de sabor. El tiramisú y el pastel de chocolate también fueron una delicia. Ambos estaban maravillosamente equilibrados en dulzura y tenían justo la textura correcta.

Aparte de la deliciosa cocina, S'ancora también ofrece un servicio de primera calidad. El bodeguero era extremadamente atento, muy conocedor, y se aseguró de que siempre estuviéramos cómodos.

Selected carefully for a special date night but thoroughly disappointing - avoid at all costs! Starter of prawn cocktail had two prawns and lettuce was limp - not that enjoyable but hoped for a better main. 2 standard dishes for Mallorca - entrecôte and tuna, both turned up after a long wait and were not at all what was expected. Steak requested as medium was inedible, full of fat and chewy, couldn’t cut through it even. Tuna was cold and frozen in the centre which is unacceptable. After 2 bites we sent it back and they offered new meals- after 20 minutes of waiting still nothing. We asked about the food and had an aggressive response from the waiter, zero politeness in sight. We decided to pay for what we had and go elsewhere, the waiter continued with arrogance and rudeness. Sadly just to top off the awful experience I became sick from the poor prawn cocktail. I would suggest anyone thinking of going here swerves it and chooses one of the other amazing spots in...

My review is mainly focused on the entrecote steak i bought.

It was quite lean, and it was cooked as I requested - medium rare (the only way). But still it didn't surprise me just a little bit - a simple thing as bread and aioli for a starter, was more enjoyable compared to the steak, that was quite bland. I couldn't taste any charcoal which is essential for "orginal barbeque"

Not to mention the French fries: they were quite soggy, and tasted like that they might have been cooked in a too much reused oil - not very tasty.

I think it's a general "problem" to find really nice fat rib eye, / sirloin steak in Mallorca - i dont think they import too much from countries like Australia, Uruguay, and Argentina who are famous...
