Its been a few months since my visit and I can still remember the freshly squeezed orange juice, as it was amazing. I asked what was added to give it this beautiful smooth taste, and was told it was made with love, love is a very underrated ingredient in a lot of establishments and I'm fully onboard with more places using it. I also ate there, can't remember what I ordered, but that was extremely tasty as well, so much so, that after my visit around Santiago I went back and ordered exactly the same thing, obviously with another orange juice.
Its location is slightly away from the centre so misses out on loads of trade from all the people making their way to Santiago, but my advice would be, take that extra 5 minutes to wander down to this cafe, its opposite a nice park so you can relax in your surroundings, and the food is so well made you will feel as though you're replenishing your body with energy rather than just eating food.
Finally, to the owner, I thought that was a good conversation we had, there are lots of people out there that perceive the world similarly. Also, thank you for recommending that beach, I spent the night there, and as you said, it is such a...
Read moreAfter walking along the Sarela, we happened upon this small family-run café with very cute and cozy vibes inside. All the homemade quiches and pastries that lined the counter were a delicious sight. The music was chill and relaxing, and the large windows allowed for a panoramic view of the park as we enjoyed our meals. The menu had a nice variety with French staples - the "petit breakfast" was fresh, filling and tasty and ended up being the perfect choice for us. And what's more, the owners were friendly and helpful. Can't...
