El Olivo Restaurante — Restaurant in Santiago del Teide

What do you know about the worst experience? I understand the 18+ concept for hotels, but nowhere is it stated that the restaurant is also 18+. I booked a table for my wife's birthday and asked for special service. We arrived together with my 9-year-old child and parents. After we placed the order, the administrator asked the waiter to ask us to leave. The celebration was completely disregarded. The restaurant was empty, with only one table occupied, but not by hotel guests. Also, the restaurant is far from the terrace and is located inside the hotel building. The live music is also outside. All the outside photos are of the hotel bar, not the restaurant. I can not understand why guests celebrating a birthday would be asked to leave an empty restaurant because the concept of the building where the restaurant is located does not...

Nous avons passé une semaine à l hôtel et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les prestations restauration .nous avons donc imaginé que le restaurant carte qui veut être un peu gastro allait être top……mais aucune équipe précise est dédiée à ce restaurant.les serveurs quittent le bar pour passer en salle et pour la cuisine c est pire ….st Jacques surgelées ,sauce béarnaise annoncée mais de la poudre à diluer ….viande rouge de qualité servie avec une salade , betterave, cœur de palmier et radis …….on sent que tout le monde essai de faire du gastro mais sans un cuisinier dédié derrière le piano …..seulement des clients de l hôtel tenteront l expérience …(restaurant...

Etwas versteckt gelegen im ersten Stock des Hotels Barcelo Santiago. Empfang und Service extrem freundlich und unprätentiös. Das beste frisches Brot, das wir je auf den Kanaren serviert bekommen haben, was auch für den lokalen Rotwein im Glas gilt. Jose Antonio hat ungefragt eine frische Flasche Cava geöffnet, weil die erste etwas an "Sprutz" mangelte. Vielfältige, aber nicht übertriebene Auswahl von Speisen. Pulpo mit Blumen dekoriert, Steinbutt auf den Punkt und Tofu, alles mit grösster Sorfalt und Kreativität zubereitet. Die Milhojas ein süss-knackiges, würdiges Finale. Eine kulinarische Entdeckung für nicht mal €40 pro Person. Wir danken und kommen ganz...
