Bar El Tremendo de Pío XII — Restaurant in Seville

Wandering through Seville on our vacation, looking for non-tourist neighbourhoods to spend the afternoon today, and we came across this spot. Was the busiest place we saw in the neighbourhood - and we're so glad that we went there!

Despite being the only patrons who didn't speak Spanish, we were welcomed and treated very well. Tapas were excellent, matching the excellent service. The owner (I think he's the owner, pictured below) even gave us our espresso on the house (purposely)...why? I do not know! 10/10...though I'm reluctant to say this here, since I'd hate to bring more tourists (like myself) to this great...

Paco is an absolutely gem of a host; so friendly and so kind. He will make sure you get the best service and best and freshest food.

Call and make a reservation! His tables are often completely booked already for the night if you just show up.
