If you're looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Sevilla, look no further than Buga Ramen. This new ramen restaurant is a hidden gem in the city, and it's quickly becoming a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
The atmosphere at Buga Ramen is an anime-lover's dream. The decor is heavily influenced by Japanese culture, complete with anime-inspired artwork on the walls, Japanese lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and traditional Japanese furniture. The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and just what you would expect from a ramen restaurant.
But what really sets Buga Ramen apart from other ramen restaurants in Sevilla is their food. The traditional ramen is the star of the show, and it's clear that the chefs have perfected their recipe. The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The noodles are cooked to perfection, and the toppings are fresh and high-quality. Every bite is a burst of flavor, and you'll be left wanting more.
But the ramen isn't the only thing worth trying at Buga Ramen. The duck bao is another standout dish. The bao buns are fluffy and perfectly steamed, and the duck is tender and flavorful. It's a unique and delicious take on the classic bao, and it's definitely worth ordering.
If you're a fan of seafood, be sure to try the deep-fried shrimp bao. The shrimp is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the bao bun is the perfect vessel for it. It's a simple but delicious dish that's sure to satisfy.
And of course, you can't forget about the fried dumplings. These little pockets of goodness are crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful pork filling. They're the perfect appetizer to start your meal, and you'll definitely want to order more than one serving.
Overall, Buga Ramen is a must-visit restaurant in Sevilla. The anime-themed decor adds to the overall experience, but it's the food that really shines. From the traditional ramen to the creative bao buns and dumplings, everything on the menu is delicious and worth trying. If you're looking for a taste of Japan in Sevilla, Buga Ramen is the...
Read moreCame at 2:15 pm on a Thursday and there was a line for seating. No waiter at the door to take names down or a list to write our names for a waitlist. 15 minutes later a waiter comes and everyone crowds around, can’t tell who was in line first waiting to put their name down. The waiter takes a few names and then leaves for another 30 minutes. Ended up waiting 1.5 hours total to be seated. Karage chicken had a very light breading that made it seem more like a mushy chicken nugget rather than a typical crunchy piece of Karage chicken. Would not recommend. Shrimp tempura ramen- broth flavor is okay but shrimp tempura seemed slightly undercooked and mushed batter inside around the shrimp. My main criticism is the waiting system here. It is absolutely horrendous and messy, since whenever the waiter came, people stood up but you couldn’t tell if they were trying to put their names down or if they were waiting for their name to be called. They should probably hire more staff so it’s not so chaotic in the restaurant too, as I saw many carts with unwashed dishes piled up. I know the servers are working hard and trying their best but the system needs to be reassessed to be...
Read moreOkey, we had very high expectations before visiting. But our experience was not so good.
Atmosphere: Is cool with all decorations (However, I question what's going on with all the copy rights????😱All those anime characters and, they copy and use signboards from "actual companys/shops" from Japan...😶 )
Food: Everything was TOO SALTY!!!! It's not that I don't like salty food, no! I love salty food but it was just way tooooo much!!! Which is super pity because otherwise they are making quite decent ramen... (Noodles are REAL ramen noodle and toppings are very good and they offer many variety of ramens including vegan options.)
Service: The waiter who attended to our table had no clue of what they are offering. He must be new so I'm not gonna criticize him. At least! Cat robot was doing a great job😸
Overall: I would come back for other dishes besides ramen. Fingers crossed that it won't be too...
